Morning all :)

I thought I was up extra early Ally, enjoy your lazy day.

Getting ready for the trip up to Swindon. Not really looking forward to the M25, lots of reported delays yesterday, fingers crossed it's not too ghastly today.

Eldest daughter can't get over tomorrow, she visited her nan last Sunday instead, but she's bringing the children to meet us around 5ish this afternoon so we can have a pre-Christmas meal together. Means we'll still be out when Strictly starts and of course there's no way of recording and playing catch up at the hotel so I'll be watching it on my tablet via iplayer sometime later. Can't leave it until we get back home Tuesday night, the result will be plastered everywhere.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Good morning everybody.
Misty here.
Waiting for a phone call from our travel agent as we will have to alter our travel plans because of the airport strikes at Christmas.
Some shopping later on this morning.
Have a good day everybody.

Good morning all, it's quite bright here at the moment.

Off to walk Billy shortly, Tom has work at lunchtime and Joe's off to see his friend Ed as he needs to give him money to get a football ticket. Ed's a Stoke season ticket holder and they play Wolves ( ) in the FA Cup next month so Joe's going with him as a neutral and their Wolves supporting friend is going with them.
I need to cut and colour my Mom's hair this afternoon and on the way back I have to go to the sorting office for a parcel which wouldn't fit through the letterbox yesterday, no idea what it is! Thankfully the sorting office have extended their hours so I'm hoping (probably in vain) that it won't be quite so busy late afternoon. I hate having to go there.

Cruiser, I hope your travel plans can be easily sorted. I really feel for you, this strike must be causing a lot of people a lot of worry.

Have a good day all!

Morning everyone

A lovely sunny but chilly morning here :Hi: :Hi:

Washing machine on and we need to sort out the fence, as next doors cows tried to break it down yesterday  :o to get at our grass    There was this enormous bull - with horns - with his head and shoulders through the fencing and when we chased them off and went to look, he'd only done about 6 panels :( :( so they need to be tied together. At least it's only the bit along side our garden - they've left the field

Also to sort out Molly's bed - I have no idea what happened last night, but the top of polystyrene was in bits and in the bed :? :?

Hope you can get your travel plans sorted out cruiser :)

We're off to the bar later, to pass onto a friend some of the strong cheese we got during the week. And back for chicken curry.

HJave a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Ally, that sounds like a good plan to me! :D

Enjoy your visitors Saundra :) :) xx

Cruiser I hope your plans won't be spoiled by all this! Fingers crossed for you XX

Jen have a great family weekend :D xx

Have a good day Jo, I have the box to do my colour, really must do it this weekend!

Well it's a bit dark here still, hoping it stays dry! I can't wait for the days to get a bit longer again, or at least for some sunny Winter days, it has been so dreary here this week! We'll be out later, in the Quays for a bite, then round to see D and drop off the Christmas pressies for her and for the inlaws, as she'll be off to Weymouth next Thursday, for the festivities, and although I will see her before she goes I don't want to carry it all down there on foot! Then we will probably do the weekend food shop later, we'll do the actual Christmas food shop on Weds or Thurs next week, probably is Tesco as although we rarely use them they've sent me a £15 off voucher to use! :Hi:

Have a good day everyone :) xx

PS Morning Ton! Hope you get everything done, and enjoy your curry later :D

Kaz - result!
That sounds like a plan to me Ally and enjoy your visitors Saundra. I hope Billy the happy dog enjoyed his walk Jo!
I was supposed to be going out today but |I'm absolutely bunged up with cold, yuk.

sister in law will be over later and we'll open a bottle of wine (or two). Until then it's just staying in and keeping warm.
