Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 19 Dec 2016, 06:56

Good morning.

Forecast rather pleasant so we're off into Malaga for the day. :D :D

A mooch round the shops, we need Christmas crackers and only Dunnes in Larios Centro sell them and we'll have lunch at one of our favourite little places. :D :D

Back tonight in time for Last Tango in Halifax! :Hi:

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally and all! Dark here so no idea what it's doing but I'm hoping for a dry day so that I can dry some washing.

Once it's light I'll walk Billy, I've got some cleaning to do and tonight we're off into Birmingham to the German Market, Tom and Joe are getting the train over this afternoon as Joe wants to do his Christmas shopping.

Have a good day all!

Don, Jacob & I got caught up in the German market a week last Friday Jo and it was absolutely mental. It really wasn't pleasant being packed like sardines so we took a detour up Temple street (which took long enough to get to! ) and reached Cannon Street to have a pint in The Windsor. 8-)

I'm sure with it being Monday it will be a tad easier to walk round..although still really busy. Enjoy. :D

Morning everyone

A lovely morning here, bright and sunny with a slight breeze :) And cold

We're off to Ourique later, Grumpy has a letter to collect from the post office, so we'll do the shopping on the way back. If I need any veg, I can get it down at the bar :) :)

Enjoy your days out, Ally and Jo and lunch, Kaz.

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning all :)

The drive up on Saturday was horrid, fog all the way. Was lovely to see eldest daughter with Jordan and David, more than made up for the journey :D

Yesterday went very well. Mum was pleased to see us, but although she looks great in photo's she's really frail and very confused. Apart from me I don't think she really knows who anyone else is  She couldn't open any of her presents, I had to do it for her and she had no idea what the perfume was. When I sprayed a bit for her she said 'oh this is mother's favourite' she's definitely in a little world of her own. Her right leg is very swollen, the result of the mass causing pressure, walking is quite difficult so we'll be using a wheelchair when we take her out today.

The good news is she seems happy and they've upped the painkillers so she's comfortable. Tbh it's a miracle she's still here, amazing really, how much longer is anyone'seen guess. I just hope she stays painfree.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Afternoon all, it started off as a misty dreary day, but has improved quite a bit. We've been doing bits and pieces this morning and now I'm heading out to get something that Santa needs for the present he is bringing to Michael, will deliver a couple of family cards while I am out. Of course, the man of the house has been doing paintwork touch up this morning, has done too much and is now back to feeling cr*p again......do they ever learn   :(

Jen, it sounds as if your Mum is being very well cared for, and as you say, you just hope she stays painfree xx
