Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 20 Dec 2016, 06:44

Good morning.

A beautiful day forecast and we're off into Malaga again!

We met some friends of ours when we were in there yesterday and they asked us to join them for lunch today at El Pimpi. Having only been there once before, and it was fab, we gladly said yes!

It also gives me a good excuse to pop back into H&M to buy a shirt I spotted for Don for Christmas. :D

We'll pick up a couple of pizzas from Mercadona on the way home this evening, pop into Jose's for a couple of beers, then get home to eat said pizzas watching the fabulous Last Tango in Halifax. :Hi:

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

A lovely sunny morning - but we had our first frost last night, so the fields are white :? :?

We have some friends coming up this morning, with scaffolding for grumpy :Hi: :Hi: No idea what time, so need to have a bit of a tidy up first

Off to Antonia's for that long awaited dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Sounds like you both have nice days planned, Ally and Ton, so enjoy :D Frost Ton? Wow!

Major housework day today, B and I are giving the place a good blitz for Christmas ;) This afternoon I'll pop up and see D before she goes to Weymouth on Thursday - I was going to see her tomorrow instead but she's had a last minute invite for lunch with friends :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning you lot

Ally, enjoy the day in Malaga and good luck with the shirt purchase. Does he know or will you have to sneak out behind Don's back :)
Ton, what is the scaffolding for? Just being very nosy (again) And enjoy our dinner
Kaz, fancy popping over to mine when you and Becks are done cleaning your house. Mine is in desperate needs of a through top to bottom. Enjoy the afternoon with D

Usual work day for me and then meeting up with friends for a drink after work. Was meant to be taking 1/2 day because the cat proof netting has been damaged and I need to repair that in daylight, but the poor cats just have to make do without the front garden one more day. I'll try take the 1/2 day tomorrow instead

have a lovely day all xx

The ceiling is wooden, in the car-port, as is the rest of the house and because it's going to be a bedroom, we wanted to stain/varnish all the wood before the work started.

So Steve is very kindly bringing up his scaffolding, so Grumpy won't have to do it all off a ladder. And it's rather high, so I wouldn't want him doing it either.

And no, I won't be getting up there either

Morning :)
Another dull, grey dreary day here but tomorrow sounds much worse with rain, so I'm braving the shops :)

Tree and other bits of Christmasification are now done :D
Today I'm after the remaining bits that have a long enough shelf life, plus hopefully a turkey breast joint. Not having it for lunch but we can't be without cold turkey :)
Since the boys and BB's mum and dad are probably not even coming till the day after Boxing day there's no rush, we can go after and save fridge space :)

Have a fab lunch Ally, I must look the place up :)
Ria enjoy your drinks, Ton scaffolding sounds sensible :) and Kaz errr enjoy your cleaning :D

Frost in Portugal!
I've still got this rotten cold but I'm going out somewhere today, I'm going stir crazy in the house.

We still have some bits and bobs to get for Christmas so it's off to the shops. Cover me - I'm going in!

Morning, feeling bleurgh  Mr Osc was so generous passing his cold on to me  Nice day here so I might at least get out for a walk around the block. I have a list to work through, nothing too energetic though and one of the things on the list is printing off the stuff for our Prague trip which is nice :x Present wrapping and some hand washing also on the list, with a few other bits and pieces. Have a good day everyone :)
