Good morning Ally and all! It's dry here at the moment but the storm is due to hit this afternoon.

I'm up waiting for an Amazon delivery. There's ironing to do so I'll do that when I've finished this.

Ally, I've got my nails to do too. I found a gorgeous colour the other day, Rimmel Diamond Dust. It's very dark grey and glittery! I've only tried it on my little finger nail so far to try it and it looks fab so once I've got the cleaning out of the way today I'll get the rest done.

Have a good day all!

Blowing a gale out there!

Yaay for David :Hi:
Dark grey and glittery sounds fab Jo :)
I may stick with just the glittery one, on a base coat.

Can't stop, we're off to Waitrose in a few minutes :)

Morning everyone

Frost already gone and it's a lovely morning 8-)

Grumpy will crack on with the car-port, I'll be ironing and gardening.

I don't bother with nail varnish - it'd chip off too easily

Have a good day everyone x

Morning all :)

Ally the tennis sounds fun - I've not played since school (I was in the tennis club for a while) but D has a tennis club behind her house and I've often fancied a bash again

Everyone's nails sound lovely! :D I did mine for the WW lunch on Monday - OPI burgundy with a layer of gold glitter sparkle on the top. It looked great - I put t on FB - but one of them chipped so I had to take it off and it took me AGES  Now they are just the burgundy - I might put some gold on top again if I feel brave

Harry is here, and wants to go to town (eek!!) so is coming with me to my GRH appointment so we can go straight into the city centre afterwards. It will be manic no doubt, but lovely to spend some time with him anyway :D :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Mr and Ms Smug here, got parked easily, got everything on our list, only one trolley ahead of us at the checkout, and we're home with a coffee :)
The farm shop isn't open till 9.30 so we reckon a bit later will be less crowded, everyone's picking up orders.

Morning all :)

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Loving the sound of all the nails, wish I could do mine, but sadly I've never got over a lifetime habit of biting them

Joining the Mr&Mrs Smug club Di, we did our last trolley dash yesterday morning, if we haven't got it now, too bad

Had a extra long lie in this morning, Pat our lovely neighbour came in for drinks at 3 yesterday afternoon, we were still drinking at 9pm   I was nearly under the table   She's been so kind to us this year letting us park our car on her driveway while all the hassle was going on, a really lovely neighbour. So different from the miserable pair our bungalow is attached to.

Doing the washing a day early, will give the house a whiz round later too.

Hope you all have a good day :)

It makes such a difference having nice neighbours doesn't it Jen, we're very lucky with ours :)

My theory about the farm shop was right too, we swanned in at half ten to no queue at all :D
Lisa, the farmer's wife, said it was mayhem when they opened, and they can't get through the orders any quicker, poor things.
They were giving out free mulled wine, apple juice, croissants, mince pies...and a friend came in for her turkey so we had a nice catch-up too :)

That's us done now, we can pull up the drawbridge - and it's only the 23rd :D :x :Hi:
