Not too good here either Saundra but I don't care, we're going nowhere :)
Tomorrow's meant to be nice, so a good walk with that Minnie girl is on the cards, since we've done everything that needs doing so early
I might make some oaty parmesan biscuits - if I feel like it. And maybe mince pies :)

Btw, Mr Kipling's gingerbread whirls are rather nice ;) 8-) :x

Tom brought a box of those home with him the other day, he'd got them for 50p from the Co-op as they were short dated.
They're lovely!

Glittery nail varnish people!!
I've just, inadvertently, discovered a way to remove it!

Steam!

Thankfully I didn't have time to do my nails yesterday so had clear gel on nine of them and then on my one little finger nail had a coat of gel, a coat of glitter, a second coat of gel and then another coat of glitter. That had been applied to see how it looked.

I just steam cleaned the shower, didn't bother wearing gloves, and when I'd done I thought I'd look to see how this new nail polish had fared while cleaning, whether it had started to wear off on the tips.

I looked. No nail polish. I looked again. Definitely no nail polish. Not even the slightest trace of it around the cuticles to show that it had once been there. The nail is completely bare.

I discovered Mercadona's acetone free nail polish remover is fantastic for removing glittery polish.

99 cents a bottle.

We're cow watching

They keep trying to get at our grass   and so Grumpy has had to tie the barbed wire together, to stop rather large heads and horns coming through

He's now chased them away and is going to scythe our grass, so they won't try to get at it - it's too wet to use the strimmer

The rain in Leeds falls mainly on the weeds, and the roofs, and cars, and paths, and grass, and roads.......... and on my head!

It cannot make its mind up today. One minute it is blue skies, then the wind picks up, the clouds roll in and everything gets dumped in no time at all.

Grey and windy here and despite a light shower that lasted half an hour, the washing - which included a load of bath towels - has dried!

John's just found some Laurel and Hardy on Amazon Prime so I'm going to make some coffee, get some biscuits and then we'll sit and watch that.
