Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 10 Jan 2017, 06:42

Good morning. :D

Forecast nice again so when it's light I'm off for a quick 7km run and back for day 10 of the abs challenge - 110 and that's got to hurt!

Pootling until work 4 - 9.

Resident chef will have dinner ready for me for when I get home. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning! Hoping it stays dry today.

I'll take Bill out as soon as it starts to get light. Joe's in college this afternoon. He's back at work with John on Thursday. John said that he easily picked up everything he was shown yesterday so he's got his drawings printed out to show his tutors what he's doing. He said he'd really enjoyed it, and when I went to tell him he were popping out to walk Bill at 8pm he was fast asleep so he'd obviously been working hard

Have a good day all!

Morning everyone :)

Enjoy your run in the sun Ally, we have very cold weather coming our way later this week!

Jo, really glad that Joe is enjoying his work experience :) Wonder if he'll end up with a similar job to his dad? :D My Chris works in IT, like Mick, so when they talk shop the rest of us don't have a clue

Off to zumba shortly, then up to have lunch with D :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning all.

We're off shopping this morning. It doesn't look very bright, but at least it's not raining.

Hope you all have a good day.

Morning all :D

Lovely and sunny here :D

We're off out for a walk along the seafront to the harbour when we've finished brekkie. Want to make the most of this lovely weather before the arctic conditions come along as forecast.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Kaz, I wondered that too. John actually started off doing a similar course to the one Joe's doing as well. I'd say it's definitely preferable to be working in an office than in a noisy, dirty engineering works. They already have conversations which go straight over my head about various things that Joe's learning and using in the workshop at college

Well the weather can't make it's mind up today. It was windy and drizzly when we went out, then it was sunny, now the wind's dropped but it's back to grey again.

Morning :)
Bit nothingy here weather-wise, not too dull, at least it's dry - at the moment!

Glad Joe enjoyed it Jo, partly it's just getting used to an officey environment isn't it, different discipline etc.
Well as it's not too bad I think I'll go out. M&S have given me a fiver on my Sparks card ahead of my birthday so I might go and see if I can spend it :)
A nice stomp up and down the High St will do me good too :)

Morning all, it's dull but dry here and Mr Osc has gone to play golf. My sister is having day surgery today, a little growth on her uvula caused by papilloma virus, apparently she will have a sore throat for a while. She insisted on getting a taxi to the hospital but I will collect her later on. She hasn't decided whether to go home or come and stay the night here, I suppose it depends on how she feels, but I will put hot water bottles in our spare bed and make sure the room is nice and warm just in case.

Otherwise, usual chores, and I am going to go for a walk and look at the outside of the two houses Miss Osc and SIL will be viewing, both walking distance from here which would be good, hope one of them suits. Have a good day everyone :)

ETA Just heard from my sister that her surgery has been cancelled, apparently some emergency in surgeon's family. They left her a message yesterday but she was having problems with her phone and did not get the message until she was at the hospital this morning and turned her phone off and on again  She is not happy.
