Tom tried the Vicks thing when he was home over Christmas but it didn't help. I had high hopes for that too.

I know a lot of people swear by it but it had no effect on him.

There was a cough remedy which cropped up on Facebook this morning and it was a mix of bananas, honey and water I think.

Blood all done :D :D

A very nice Brazilian nurse and we had a long chat 8-)  Cost me 2.90 and I get the results tomorrow afternoon

But, something I've never had before - a huge bump where she took the blood from :? :?

Right, off to help Grumpy and then do some weeding.

Enjoy the rest of the day xx

Just be careful Ton; don't do any heavy lifting and take it easy for a bit. Nadine (my SIL) had bloods done a while back and shortly after (ie within 1/2 hour or so) lifted a child and it caused her all sorts of trouble with major bruising and swelling etc.

Afternoon :)
What a horrible day, it's dark as night (can barely see this keyboard and I have lights on!) and pouring with rain...and meant to get worse!
Tried to ignore it by doing some jobs, tidied the bedroom, sorted the papers, mags, etc (bin day tomorrow), odds and ends.
May have to find a crappy film to watch this afternoon :)

Ton we are always told very firmly, no lifting, don't use that arm too much, when blood's been taken.
Bloods done for free and results the next day on our nhs Cromwell ;)
Hope no-one's in for the worst of the bad weather that's due
