Afternoon :)
Absolutely freezing here with a vicious wind, but bright and sunny, so could be a lot worse :)
Phoned friend D in Farnham as it's her birthday and they had quite of snow a lot last night, starting to melt in the sun but she didn't know if they were due any more.

Jen that was a good deal! :)
I've been to art this morning, my goodness we laughed a lot! Richard our teacher said we were working in acrylics today and had to be loose (and no sketching, straight in with the paint). Cue many, many jokes about loose women. Made even funnier as Barbara had forgotten her hearing aids and was answering questions no-one had asked, but her answers made the question funny iyswim  :cute:
There were only seven of us today but we have had as many as 13 or 14. R said the centre is going to restrict numbers to probably 10, so I don't know how that's going to work :(
Have to shift as Bb has a phone meeting scheduled to last an hour and a half  so I'll sit on the sofa with the kindle ;)

Hope everyone's plans are ok with the weather

Good evening! Blimey Lissie, I'd forgotten about Friday the 13th.

Cold and damp here, but the snow we had might have dusted the top of a cake.

Weather warnings on the east coast though. I wonder if Jaywick in Essex will be relocated to the Dogger Bank overnight?

That's a shame about Jaywick. It was featured in a Channel 5 programme last year I think and it came across as a really close knit community but the people there don't have a lot, very sad for them if their homes are affected.

I took Billy up the woods. I was regretting it by the time I'd got onto our drive, that wind is bitter! It's so muddy over there too, much more so than yesterday.

You're right Jo, I knew I knew the place from somewhere! :( Awfully worrying. Strangely enough, D was talking recently about the terrible floods of 1953, she was a young nurse in Essex at the time and they saw a lot of injured and worse!
