Good morning.

A good day for yomping so that's what we'll do.

David's calling for me at 10am and we'll kick things off by actually walking to the foot of the mountain we're climbing instead of taking the car and leaving it there. As it's uphill all the way to said foot of mountain we'll see how that goes!

We're going to walk to the wolf trail then turn right and see if there's a trail we can follow all the way to the chair lifts at Arroyo de la Miel.

We may be some time.....

A few beers for sure in Jose's when we've finished.

Good morning! We've had another covering of snow overnight.

That sounds like an interesting walk Ally, wolf trail conjures up some images!

I bought a cross trainer last night, John's fitted it all together but I need to rearrange the furniture in the study so that it can go in there. The plan is that I'll use that and I also get a lot of exercise walking Billy and running with John so I can cancel the gym.

Hair cut this afternoon. We'll have dinner beforehand so that Tom can eat with us before going back. I'll walk up to see my parents after my appointment, my Mom wants me to cut her hair.

This afternoon, we're down to the bar, as we've arranged to meet Alberto.

It's beautiful here, sunny and bright and not quite as cold.

Ally that's a yomp and a half! - will be interesting to know how far today

Bb's working till about lunchtime so I might go into town for a look at the market.
There are a couple of nice jewellery stalls and Bb's mum sent me money for my birthday; not all the stalls are there in January but Bb bought me a necklace from one of them the other year.

We're going out tonight, to the Thai restaurant just in the next village
Didn't want to book too early as the weather's so unpredictable and they're little windy roads but the forecast sounded good, I'm looking forward to it

Morning all

Bright and sunny here, very cold though.

The promised high tides happened overnight and a lot of beach huts at Dumpton Gap are badly damaged. It's just 10mins walk from here, but far enough that we weren't aware of it. More serious, a cargo ship went down just off our coastline, luckily the seven crew were rescued and unhurt.

No plans for today, got the usual washing on the go and that's about it.

Morning all, another nice bright day, still cold though. We will be going out shortly to watch Michael playing football, he asked Grandad to go along, so lots of layer going on! A batch of soup has just finished in the soupmaker (how I love that machine!) so we will be able to have something nice and warm when we come home. Nothing else planned for the day. Spare ribs are cooking away in the slow cooker, which we will have with broccolli and sweet potato fries. Have a good day everyone
