The whole "dose" is viral except for the eye infection and she gave me drops for that. Otherwise, rest and liquids. Throat red but no infection, chest clear, blood pressure fine. She was interested in the fact that I had felt so much better yesterday, only to relapse, and wondered if I had overdone things yesterday (I didn't tell her what I did )

Hope you feel better soon Osc, it really just takes it out of you so do take it easy and follow doctors orders. Rest, liquids, more rest, chicken soup, liquids and more rest.

Re the sore throat - can you see if you can get Strefen where you are. It's like a Strepsil lozenge but it contains some sort of anti-inflammatory which really does help as it goes straight to where it's needed.
