Morning A!ly! :) Morning a!l :)

It looks a bit gloomy here this morning, the beautiful frosty sunshine of the last few days has disappeared. I'm seeing my friend A today, she's picking me up at 11. We were going to have a day out in Tewkesbury, but she remembered a dental appointment at 4 so we'll probably stick to ether Gloucester or Cheltenham ;) I have a bit of housework and washing to get done first, so better get on with it!

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning Ally, Kaz and all.

I'm up early this morning as it's my Golden Oldies Music Night tonight and I need to check
that everything is O.K. It's dull but dry here now, so I'll be going out for my morning walk
to the paper shop soon.

Hope you are all fine. Have a nice day.

Morning all

Aggers, enjoy the music night tonight - they always sound like such fun. Your fellow residents must be so happy to have you there doing this for them?
Ally enjoy your walk, work and dinner
Kaz enjoy your shopping and don't overdo it on the HW bit :D

Rather dull here as well this morning. First morning in quite a while that I didn't have to scrape the ice off the car windows which was quite nice, but.... I really do prefer the ice and cold but clear skies to the warmer weather and rain we're now expected to have for about 2 weeks :(

Usual work day for me and meeting a friend for a bite to eat after work which will be nice.

Have a lovely day all x

Morning everyone

Dull, grey and rather blowy here this morning  Dry still, but the wet stuff is on it's way :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: Feels quite warm at 12C

A gentle pootling day inside, can't think I'd want to be outside doing anything in this wind ;)

Enjoy your music evening Aggers, your day out Kaz and your evening Ria.

Me? I'll be reading by the fire, I think 8-) 8-)

Enjoy your day everyone, despite the weather x

Morning :)
Struggling a bit with the smile, it's foul here. We've had 3 days of really dense fog, today is dark, miserable and freezing cold...

I've been cheering myself up by looking at my vase of daffodils :)
And by checking on the area around our holiday apartment :D
The nearest eaterie is Café Copenhagen (practically next door), which has all 5* reviews on tripadvisor - 'the very best bread, Danish pastries and cakes in Benalmadena' :D That's lunch sorted as soon as we arrive then :)
A couple of doors down is a good-sounding Italian, and up the road a top-rated tapas bar :D
There are dozens of others, and a big supermarket nearby too :)
And that's without all the ones right the way along the seafront :D

Have fun wherever you go Kaz :)
Everyone else hope you enjoy your day

Morning all :D

Dry but a little dull here, no sign of frost now though. Like you Ria I much prefer it cold but bright and sunny rather than dull and damp.

Enjoy your music night Aggers, sounds fun.

Have a nice day out with your friend Kaz.

Benalmadena sounds good Di, how long till your holibobs?

We've been very lazy and had a nice lie in, just finishing brekkie, later we'll be off out to do the weekly shop.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Yes, Meriad, I believe they do enjoy them. I have a collection of over a thousand CDs covering
popular music for the period from the 1920s to the 1970s, plus some classical ones. Needless to
say, I am not particularly interested in most music renditions since then. I do my Music Nights
once a month except for the three Summer months. Tonight I am playing songs from the 1950s,
plus a few classical numbers. I also sing them one of the many songs I learned as a boy, in the
1930's, from my parents' gramophone collection. and which are all stored away in my brainbox.
My voice isn't what it used to be but they don't seem to mind. I always finish with something they
can sing along to. It certainly gives me great pleasure to see how much they enjoy the evening.

That's lovely Aggers xx

Change of plan here. Carlos, our nice neighbour - as opposed to Brian :cute: :cute: :cute: - needs a lift into Ourique,s o we'll drop him off and then I'll pop into the library.

it's chucking it down here, but at least the wind has dropped a bit.

Good morning--dull, dreary and cold here so won`t go far.
If you want some nice cheap jumpers, skirts etc look at this
website http://www.mandco.com
I buy a lot from them and have always been pleased.
Don bought me a jumper £32 for £10 and a skirt £29 for £14.
They both fit perfectly. I will have another look later as the sale
must end soon.
Have a good day :D :D :D
