Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then meeting Don and the gang for Friday beers and tapas.

We have some sunshine at the moment, after yesterdays rain - and more to come today We can even see the stream in the next valley - good news for all our bore-holes and the barragem

Waiting for the phone call from the garage to say the tyres are there. Will take a book and sit in the cafe opposite.

The forecast said it would be warmer today but so far
it is a b***** lot colder with a thick frost.
Must drive to Canterbury later to do some shopping.
The city gets so congested that there is no point going
till about 12.
Going to try Morrisons stirfry for dinner only £4 and you
get a choice of chicken, beef, pork, prawn or quorn with
noodles (4 sorts) stirfry (4 choices) and sauce (4 choices)
Looks really good value.

All threat of rain has gone..tis beautiful here.

No yomp this weekend as David is flying to Mallorca this afternoon to spend the weekend with his father. Saw a photograph of the man yesterday and I have never seen a son look so much like his dad!

Morning all, it is very windy here and the water is pouring over the pier, it's all very grey and murky too. Mr Osc has cancelled his golf. I am going to the hairdresser this afternoon, so I will be gorgeous by teatime Otherwise I will do very little apart from the usual tidying up. I want to look for a simple dress to knit for Kellie, I made her one last year which she still wears, but I gave the pattern away however I'm sure I will find something online. Same here Lissie, it was supposed to be warmer today but it is freezing. We've dropped our daughter off at her friend's house, they are going on a hen do to Liverpool. On the way back we dropped in at the farm shop and got some fish from Glen the fishmonger. I don't know how he does it, standing out in this weather all day.

Off to the dentists this morning, deep joy.

Just had a text from my sister Susie, flights are booked and they'll be with us 12th Aug They plan to stay with us for a week and then go off to see Devon and Cornwall, we'll all meet up again in London like we did last time. From there they're off to spend time in Italy before flying back to Oz.

We're off into town after brekkie. Need quite a few things, a bit too heavy for E to carry so we'll take the car, park up at the supermarket and then have a walk around the harbour before we start shopping.

Good afternoon all, it's bitterly cold and grey again.

Billy's had a long walk, the mud's frozen solid so it's lovely to bring a clean dog home I'll make the most of it though as rain is forecast for the weekend.
