Morning all :D

It's very wet outside, looks like it's still raining.

Up early as it's the hairdresser this morning. I need to ring before I go as I'm not sure what salon she's working from today, it's always changing :? E's still in bed, think he's planning to jump on the bus and go into town to get his hair cut too.

No plans for this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Ally, Jen and everyone

Dull and grey here this morning and not so warm either   The sun is trying to come out to play 8-) 8-)

Busy day for us. Off to get the tyres aligned, then hopefully collect my scan results, then supermarket shopping, then back to Antonia's, to work out the rest of the wardrobe doors - been a complete nightmare :cute: :cute: We got there at 10.00 yesterday and it took 3 hours just to work out what to do, as the previous bloke had made such a mess of things. We left at 5.30

But he managed to get 4 doors up, only 4 more to go. Grumpy needs to find some hinges for a couple of the doors, the other two are sliders. The other problem is that Antonia and Torkel have had the wooden doors propped up and of course, they've warped

Dinner out tonight - we'll need it

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Oh, we only noticed this morning - it was dark when we got home last night.

After my few words on Saturday, next door have finally put up some screening, between us and the dogs :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Morning all! :)

Wet and dismal here, not brilliant with all the walking I do on a Tuesday  Zumba first, then up to see D for a spot of lunch and a gossip :D

I wanted to make soup today, but the greengrocer's have stopped doing the cheap veggie bags, due to the sudden rise in prices apparently, so I'll have to get some next time I go to the supermarket  I bought a lone cauliflower, so am making cauli cheese tonight :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all

that's excellent news re the screening up Ton, hopefully the dogs will be a lot quieter now? Your day sounds quite busy - you'll more than deserve that dinner out tonight x
Ally, good luck to the students for this last exam. How long for results? Are they on hols for a bit now?
Jen, enjoy the pamper time at the hairdresser
Vic & Kaz - damp and grey here as well - not nice. And apparently we've got a good few weeks of this. Give me cold crisp blue sky winter days any time

Well, usual work day for me then out for some leaving drinks after work. We hired a temp to cover my holiday last year in September and were lucky enough to hold on to her until now. But there really isn't enough for 3 admin people to do so it does make financial sense to not continue the temp contract. It will be awkward if one of us is ill but we'll work that out in time ;)

My next mission is to track a box and net of allium bulbs a friend left for me. He text last on Thursday but I was out and totally forgot when I got home in the evening. The bulbs weren't on my front door and I don't recall seeing anything on the neighbours front door. So now need to check with the postman if he recalls seeing anything; but if they've been taken then it's the first time in the 10 years I've been there that something has gone missing and I often leave things out that I've freecycled and equally anything I order and have sent home is left by my front door for me. Oh well, I'm sure they'll turn up somewhere

have a lovely day all x

I'm marking the results as we go Ria - they'll get them all next week when I've finished marking the writing papers.

No holidays until Easter now - apart from 28th February which is Dia de Andalucia. :Hi:

Good morning all, it's raining and quite windy. Pretty mild though.

I took Billy before it started, we were almost back on our close when it properly started to rain. Joe's just back from the gym so we're having a good cup of coffee each while watching football news. I did my cross training while he was gone.

Kaz, this veg shortage is awkward isn't it?! I'm completely having to change my eating habits. I'm not massively keen on cooked veg so usually have salad with my dinner, and I don't eat much bread so lunch is a salad rather than a roll or sandwich. There's none to be had anywhere though. I LOVE Iceberg lettuce and I'm now down to my last portion which I'll have with dinner tonight, lunch will have to be a roll  I went in Tesco on Saturday to see what I could improvise with, salad veg wise, and all they had was celery so I bought three packs.

Have a good day all!
