Evening all. It was dull and bitterly cold today with some mizzle early on. Mr Osc was playing golf with a friend in a place called Bettystown, about a 45 minute drive away, so I drove him there, then went to visit a friend who lives nearby - have not seen her for almost 14 years
So we had a great catch up. She had to collect one of her children from school so I went off to a nearby restaurant and treated myself to a nice tasty lunch. About 2.15 I went back to the golf club and I sat in the clubhouse reading my book. When they finished around 2.45, we all had a cuppa and a chat before heading home. Got home just before 6pm. Nice to have a full day out after taking so long to get over the flu.
