Good Morning Sunday

Postby JoM » 12 Feb 2017, 08:39

Morning all, grey here but no snow overnight.

John's out on his bike this morning, Tom has a short shift at work and I'll walk Billy before cooking a roast, something we don't have very often.

Have a good day all!

Good morning Jo. Foul day here, grey and grim and freezing with snow tipped for this afternoon. Total respect to you and all the other hardy VV dog walkers! Today is a day for staying near the fire, I think.

Have a good day everybody.

Morning all :)

No snow here either Jo, but we had a few flurries of sleet yesterday :? :cute: A roast sounds nice 8-)

Morning Cromwell, stay warm! :D

Saundra we had tea and toast in bed too! Well I had Nimble toast and Mick had his usual fruit and Greek yoghurt, but you get my drift  xxx

It's grim-looking here, but we'll be out in an hour, to the supermarket, being chauffeur driven by Becky  :? Shame we don't have a 'scared stiff' smiley here really :P   Only joking, am sure we'll be fine  Then definitely snuggling down indoors in the warm 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning everybody.
It is cloudy but no rain or snow.
Cold wind when I walked down for the paper.
Just pottering today again
Keep warm everybody.

Morning all, grey, with a very stiff cold north-easterly blowing - the water is absolutely pouring over the pier as if it is trying to fill the harbour from outside  A "stay at home in the warm" day if ever there was one. We had a nice time last night, saw friends we hadn't seen for ages and did some dancing. The couple we were with were driving back to Newry and left early, then we left about 15 minutes after them so we were home earlier than we thought we would be if we had stayed to the end. Saundra, pork chops here too! Have a good day everyone, and keep warm :)

Morning everyone - again

Wet here too, not cold, just wet. And more to come  :Hi: :Hi:

Safe driving Kaz. I bet B is just as nervous driving you as you her with her driving you ;)

Pork steaks here.

Won't be doing a lot - I had a quick walk around the water-logged garden, just to see how the plants and veg are doing, between showers. And next door has a new lake

Stay warm and dry everyone, enjoy your day xx

It ended up being a quick walk - it was drizzly and very windy. It's now turned to pouring rain. I'm dreading John coming back, I might just explode when I see how muddy he is, or rather his muddy is clothes are.

Kaz, I'm sure that B will impress you! It's a shame that everything hinges on a test isn't it. She's obviously competent and confident enough to drive.

Good afternoon all.

We've been busy this morning with our decluttering effort. It's amazing how many things
we have bought over the last five years and hardly ever used. "Help the Heroes" charity is
coming round on Tuesday to. hopefully, take our unwanted things away, including a large
cupboard-cum-display cabinet. Then we'll be able to swing the next-door black cat.

Hope you are all enjoying this Sabbath.

Afternoon all :D

We've actually been up for just over an hour so not quite as bad as it looks

It's quite bright and dry here today, but our laziness continues, apart from cooking dinner later, we're doing absolutely nothing with what's left of the day........oh the joys of retirement :D :D :D

Hope you all have a good day :D
