I've never been to North Wales, so am really looking forward to it. Portmerrion is fairly near, that's somewhere I've always wanted to visit, and lots of lovely walks too

I much prefer North Wales to the south, you'll see some amazing views as you drive through. It's such a stunningly beautiful part of the U.K.

John goes to the Dolgellau area a lot, they do a lot of cycling on and around Cader Idris and Coed y Brenin.

Btw, if you're there on a weekend give Barmouth a miss. Been once and that was enough, came away calling it Walsall by the Sea
