 blimey Jo, I'm only just having brekkie, you've done more than I usually do all day.........oh and that goes for you too Ally  very impressed 8-)

We had a lovely walk yesterday.....it wasn't anywhere near 4 miles.......and although it wasn't planned couldn't resist popping into Miles Bar, a favourite of ours, for lunch. It's so nice sitting looking at the harbour, especially when the sun's shining.

No excitement today, just housey stuff interspersed with a lot of laziness

Hope you all have a good day :D

Jen, that's just the first walk - there'll be another later
I'm so envious of you being able to walk near to the sea though!

I think it will just have to be lunch somewhere with Joe

Afternoon all, dull and damp here. I left my brother to the airport earlier then went to Miss Osc's house and packed all her glassware. We had a lovely time there yesterday evening, nice relaxed meal with lots of chat, my sister was there too. The children were in top form, my brother looks on them as almost-grandchildren as they are older than his two grandsons. Back home for lunch and now I'll do a few bits and pieces for our little trip away on Saturday. Heard yesterday from a couple we met in Nashville, they are coming to Ireland next month so we will get together with them, which will be fun. Hope everyone is having a good day :)

Evening all,

I decided it was time I got my top box from #1 daughter. So I rode from central London to Sleaford in Lincolnshire. Left at 17:30, arrived at 20:00. I'd removed the old top box (broken lock) and was able to just clip in the new one. I also picked up some bits and bobs plus an insinkerator water boiler, replacement for the one in our kitchen which died.

Rode back at 21:00 arrived back at 23:15.

It was pretty windy but not too cold. Bike is still being a pain. It's a 650, should do 100mph no problem but struggles to get to 80mph which is a nightmare for longer rides and for overtaking drivers who constantly change speed by 10mph.

However, back now. Time for bed and some warmth. I didn't really get chilled but I did get cool.
