Good Morning Sunday

Postby tonicha » 05 Mar 2017, 08:24

Morning everyone

It's foggy and raining :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: more rain today :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

So another day of being stuck inside and trying to find things to do - read, play cards and I will have to venture out to get a cabbage, turnip and carrots from the garden later - or should I just send Grumpy?

Athletics later and roast chicken for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning Ton, morning everyone

A very grey, wet and generally not nice day here. No excuse for not getting the housework done. For now sitting on the sofa, coffee in hand and cat on lap. It's a perfect start to the day.

Roast chicken sounds yum Ton, send some over when it's done.

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning peeps. :D

Lovely here. 8-) 8-)

I woke at 9.30 this morning - not bad considering we went to bed at 4am!

We got home from the Thai restaurant and Conor & Lucia were in the kitchen listening to music..we joined them and spent a very lovely few hours laughing and chatting with them. They make a great couple.

No run this morning - just my mad March challenge.

Lunch today is a takeaway chicken with all the trimmings..yummeeee. :D :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :)

We have rain as well, but that's OK as apart from popping out for the papers Sunday is usually an indoor day for us, and today will definitely be  If it stops later I'll plant up the hanging basket with the plants I got yesterday, but we have loads to watch on catch up anyway :geek:

Have a good day everyone :) x

Good morning all, we've got heavy rain with big snowflakes mixed in.

I'm sitting here watching old episodes of The Middle and playing ball with Billy while everyone else is in bed. We had a really nice night out last night we went here http://www.madorourkes.com/phone/index.html and had a really good meal. It made such a nice change and I didn't feel like I was stuck in some kind of Saturday Groundhog Day.

Have a good day all!

Morning all, dull day here but at least it is not raining.....for the moment. We had a nice night out last night, pleasant meal, and we enjoyed the concert. Well I suppose you would call it a performance, one man with a guitar and piano, singing his own songs. First time we had been at the particular theatre, seats about 300 although it was not full. No major plan for the day, we will wander up to Miss Osc's at some stage, now that they have moved we can walk there and leave the car where it is. Good telly tonight and early to bed as we are looking after the children from about 7.15am tomorrow. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all :D

Sipping down here.

Pootling and reading the papers is what we'll be doing today. I'll be cooking a M&S rotisserie chicken for dinner later, already made jelly and blancmange for pud, yummy. That's about as much energy as I plan to muster

Hope you all have a good day :D

Hi everyone, I am having a lovely solitary weekend, well, me and Charlie but solitary other than that :)

Felt very sleepy last night quite soon, I was in bed by 10 and asleep by five past! I woke a couple of times in the night but nothing like lately...well pleased! I woke proper about 7 and got up to feed Charlie and myself, in bed, and watched I Daniel Blake on my tablet....it's an awesome film, really makes you think (I planned on watching it last night but I was too tired)

It was a gorgeous morning here so I grabbed my trusty Nordic poles and drove to our closest beach, Crimdon, having checked the tide times to make sure I could get a good 'plant' on hard sand ;) I walked along the beach as far as I could go and then back again, took about an hour. I took some photos and popped them on FB, the beach was full of dog walkers and other like minded walkers, and the car park was bursting!

On the way home I got a fancy to have a try of MaccyD pancakes, but when I got there, they have stopped selling them! *cry* So I had a cappuccino and fries instead, and am now back home. The sun has gone in so I think I chose the best time of day!

Have a lovely rest of Sunday, I intend to! Sorry to those of you with wet weather, it was forecast here too but we seem to have dodged it! Jo - snowflakes??? Glad you had a nice night out :)

xxxx
