Good morning. :D

Watching a beautiful sunrise which heralds another sunny day. 8-) 8-)

Off for a power walk shortly then back to get ready and meet a friend later for coffee and cake. :D :D

Work 6 - 9 then home for the Marigold Hotel. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

My power walks always, always end up with me running!

I keep a euro coin in a little pocket in my running shorts and this morning I was so glad I do - the smells of freshly baked bread, coupled with everyone sitting outside the cafes drinking coffee, had me going in and buying a crunchy baguette.

I'm going to have it with cheese!

Morning you lot

well, 1/2 hour late to work due to train issues, but hey - I'm here now...

Ally, I just love the smell of fresh bread. That's the one thing they don't have here in the UK, proper bakeries that make decent bread; unless you're willing to pay £5.00 for an artisan loaf. Whenever I go to Germany I love the smell that you get from the baker / butcher shops; just remind me so much of parts of my childhood.

Ton, good luck with your shopping and sorting the pool - hope you're able to have a dip later on

Manxie, enjoy your shopping as well. What is Douglas? We don't have that down south (at least I don't think we do?)

Usual work day and evening for me. Got home last night and saw that upstairs have now put a gate along the side of the property. It looks nice but done in such a way that no hedgehog can get past. Well you know me... I made a hole for them  . I think the workers will be back again today for more of a clear up, I'm hoping they won't notice the hole. Also hoping the new neighbours (they move in this weekend I gather) like wildlife and will let me make sure the holes are all OK and stay in place.

have a lovely day all, whatever it is you're up to xx

Morning all :)

Raining here! Not seeing my client today, she's had a flood in her bathroom and that's getting sorted today! Meeting B in town later, she's gone earlier, as she's starting her new job tomorrow now instead of next week (new temp let them down) so wants a free bits and pieces, and already had an appointment to get her hair done! I said I'd meet her afterwards, and buy her a coffee :)

Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all, not too bad here - well, not raining :D Supermarket shop this morning and hairdresser this afternoon. I also want to Dyson the inside of the car, the back seat is covered with glitter from Kellie's doll's dress  My cold is still building, so I will do some steam inhalation before I go out as my sinuses feel sort of blocked. Otherwise, just bits and pieces to do.

Morning :)
Dull, rain on and off all day.

Ria I know you haven't been here long :D Douglas is the capital of the isle of Man ;) Fingers crossed re the new neighbours x
We do have a very decent bakers here but if we want a proper loaf I make it :D
Ally I am more jealous of all the people sitting outside having their coffee

BB's off today which is nice, but why does he always pick a rainy day?!
Never mind, we have jobs. When we're away this time Adrian is going to paint the hall/staircase/landing.
There is a tall bookcase at the top of the stairs which will have to be emptied to move it, so we can have a major sort of that and the one in the spare bedroom. We might even manage to part with some for the charity shop, but other than that get them off and into boxes or under the table in the little room.
After this mug of coffee that is ;)
