Good morning all, it's dry and sunny here at the moment and quite mild too. Didn't bother with my woolly hat when I walked Billy this morning.

I've done some shopping too and just hoovered the top floor as I couldn't do that yesterday because of waiting for Joe's parcel to be delivered.

Ally, enjoy your bread! We used to have three really good family owned bakeries which had shops in the town centre. Now there's just Greggs or the supermarkets. We don't eat much bread now anyway.

Di, a freshly decorated hallway will be nice to come home to - far better than having it done while you're home.

Have a good day all!

Will admit to not having known that
Actually my first though was that it was a particular shop. There's one with that name in Germany (similar to Boots / Superdrug here) and I thought it may have come over

That is VERY annoying Saundra...

I'm lucky in that the postman and most couriers knows to leave my parcels for me. I cannot arrange redelivery as they're only during the week when I'm at work so I'd have to go collect on a weekend which is a real pain in the you know what.

Morning all :D

Wet and miserable here.

How annoying Saundra, we have a covered porch they can leave things in, doesn't help when we forget to leave it open though

We're lucky to have a good baker here, I have to force myself to walk past or I'd be in there buying far too many yummy cakes

It's our eldest daughter M's birthday today, she's 52, where did all the years go :o Just found out H and Charlotte Faith our new great granddaughter will be visiting M this weekend so have pushed our visit to mother back a day so we're around to spend time with them on Saturday. Apparently she's still very tiny, 4lb 3oz when born on 27th Dec and now 6lb 10oz so although a good increase still the weight of a new born.

We're off to the cinema later, will be seeing Logan, can always do with a dose of Hugh Jackman

Hope you all have a good day :D

Yes Jo, impossible with the dog here :)

Well that was a good job done, books all sorted :)
Then I spent a happy hour or so ripping pictures out of magazines. I don't buy any, it's the Times and W/rose lol. Plus the new Fred Olsen brochure, some lovely ones in that - I'm sure Fred would be thrilled to learn their hugely expensive new brochure (for 2018/19!) is already consigned to the bin :D
Our art class is morphing into 'Craft and natter' after March, so I am going to be covering boxes :)

We are all going to be bereft, but our lovely tutor will be off till October; we've nearly all signed up for the new thing, and are gradually coming up with ideas of what we can do :)

That group sounds fun Di :D

We rarely miss parcels, with Mick working from home, in fact we often take them in for the neighbours. That's annoying Saundra :(

B's hair looks great, she popped a pic on Facebook :)

Jen my smallest was 8lbs so your little Charlotte sounds teeny tiny to me! :D

I came home from shopping the other week to find a card from the postman through the letterbox - Joe was in! He said he'd heard the doorbell but by the time he'd got down the two flights of stairs the card was through the door.
Had a 25 minute wait the next day at the sorting office.
