Afternoon :)
It was quite sunny and lovely here but all cloudy now. Much milder though, which is very welcome :)

Ally that looks a good yomp, is it one you've done before? - the views from Mijas are stunning, well worth it :)
Good luck at the hospital Lissie.

There's been no internet here for a few hours, it doesn't happen often, I just assume it will sort itself out, and sure enough it has :)
Been quite busy here though, I got my pretty primroses planted in a nice big pot, one over which is in the garden.
Would have done a bit more gardening but was held up by the phone (which took the person several goes, so I was gloves on/gloves off for a while) but was glad she persevered as it earned me £25 :D
I'd put my food processor on a card in Tesco and she came and liked it, especially as I'd packed it all into its box and had the instruction booklet and everything :)
That'll be towards our next holiday :)

And I've just been sorting coins out. We have a pot which Bb dumps change into, but there were far too many 1,2 and 5p's which are no use to anyone, so they can go in the Tesco coin sorter.
Then I thought of the coffee jar we used to save £1 and £2 coins in, of course the £1s are going out of use soon, and lo and behold there's £20 in there plus a few £2s. So that'll be another £20 for the holiday fund :D

Bb's working as usual for a Saturday so will call in at w/rose on his way home for our pizza and some shopping.
Enjoy your dinner Kaz :)

Afternoon all. It's dull and grey here, the sun did make an appearance earlier but has gone again - it's very mild though.

We had a lovely day out with our American friends yesterday, we went to Newgrange which is about an hour away from here. However we collected them from their hotel first, which is about 35 minutes in a different direction. On the way back, I suggested that they come to where we live and we could eat out locally, then I would drive them back to their hotel. So we did that and had a nice meal in the pub next door. They are in their early 60s and have not been to Europe before so we were pleased to show them a bit of the countryside here on the east coast, as they are heading over to the west of the country today. It was quite a tiring day with all the driving, then I was awake during the night with an upset tummy, so am very tired today.

Miss Osc and SIL went on holiday this morning, Michael and Kellie are staying with their aunt tonight and I will collect them tomorrow to stay with us until Thursday or Friday. Miss Osc left in a lot of their stuff yesterday so I will unpack that later on but she forgot a couple of things and we walked up to her house to get them earlier, I felt the better of the walk.

I saw your photos yesterday Osc, glad you had a nice day :D

A good day for the holiday fund then Di! :D

Lissie I hope you got on OK at the hospital, that is nice of your son to come and take you :)

Jo, we are popping to the Table Table up at Twigworth, we often go there with company as they have big tables in alcoves, which makes it cosy, and the food is good :)

I've heard good things about their restaurants Kaz!

Osc, you'll be needing a holiday by the time Miss Osc comes home. Have a lovely week with the children xx

Di, that sounds like a successful few hours then!

Wow Osc, that sounds like a busy week for you!! I hope you have a smashing time with the children, and that Miss Osc and her H have a lovely holiday x

Kaz you'll be out having your meal now, I bet you're having a lovely time :)

I had Charlie at the vets again yesterday for his second Leukaemia jab - same happened as last time. Bless him, he must get really frightened being in the carrier/car, but it's quite traumatic for me as well!! He's been a bit quiet today, so I hope it's just as a result of the jab.

I've been to work this morning, it was fine, quiet afternoon reading my kindle and then this evening I said he should go and help at the track. It's been a bad week for us, we had a set to on Thursday night but it seems to have setled down for the better now. Nevertheless some nasty things were said and they play on my mind a lot. Plus my lovely sister who I have so much respect and awe for, had some not-too-good news health wise and now I am worrying about her. Never ends.
