Sunshine and clouds but warm forecast for today.

Off for a mini yompette shortly and back for coffee and toast smothered in raspberry seedless jam.

Carrying on with the report writing and pootling then work 6 - 9.

Home to The Marigold Hotel thingy and Benidorm.

Morning all Feeling a bit fragile this morning, as last night I had a (thankfully brief) episode of the flashing lights thing I had a couple of years ago. My head feels like it's stuffed with cotton wool still! Supposed to be seeing my client later - unsure whether to cancel our not, but I'll probably be OK by then so don't think I will. Ditto with zumba tonight.

Dull, grey, cloudy here and wet stuff forecast Dirty rain last night too

Torkel and Dimas coming round this morning, bringing a cement mixer and taking away the scaffolding.

Then we'll have breakfast and off to Ourique for food shopping. Will be popping into the clinic to see if the glad bags have arrived and also making our annual donation to the bombeiros.

Oh, and we've been talked into meeting our local mayor, a cousin of Dimas, and making sure we vote in the local elections, which we can, as we have permanente residencia.

Eldest daughter M took H and the baby in to see mother yesterday, they sent me some lovely photo's. I'm glad the meds have been sorted, but want to know why she was dosed her up so heavily when we saw her, will be speaking to them later.

Was intending to go for coffee with the ladies, but my hairdresser rang and asked if I could rearrange for this morning, a bit annoying but it really can't wait another week. E will be hanging around indoors, we're expecting our new mattress to be delivered anytime between 7am-2pm. It's coming from John Lewis who say they will ring 30mins before they're due to arrive, but it's not as though you could go far before getting the call. Our current one is 10yrs old and beginning to sag on the sides, also it's very firm, we've gone for a medium this time so hopefully it will be more comfortable.

We always vote in our local elections Ton and our mayor is a 'hands on mayor'

He's always out and about and very much part of the community. Whenever there's a festival or owt going on (which seems like every week here! ) the mayor's jolly face can be seen in all the photos.

Good morning all, it's a beautiful one here. Clear blue skies and quite warm!

I've done some shopping and walked Billy. Joe's in college today, he's usually home by mid-afternoon though. I'm trying to encourage John to go for a bike ride tonight. Work's full on at the moment so he's not in the best of moods and he's not been able to get out on his bike now for a couple of weeks what with work and the weather so that makes him grumpy too, a bike ride usually helps sort him out

Tom texted me at 7 to say they'd just arrived in France. They're at Sword beach at the moment according to his friend Shannon's picture on Instagram.

Good morning all.

It's a lovely sunny day here and practically breeze-free. It seems that Spring has sprung.

Hope it keeps fine over the week-end, as we're going then on a 3-day trip to Cambridge,
and a village called Triplow, which is noted for its displays of daffodils. Fingers crossed.
