Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Have a lovely weekend Aggers, hope the weather behaves for you.

No back ache when I woke up this morning so a big thumbs up from me for the new mattress. E was very comfortable, but he found it a bit harder to turn over than on the old one, he 's happy with it though and says he'll soon get the knack of it. We tried loads in store and this one was E's choice so fingers crossed, we were told it would be a bit firmer to begin with but would soon settle so.........

Off out to do the weekly shop later.......after a quick lunch in M&S.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon :)
Very foggy first thing, it's cleared but just dull and dreary.
We've missed out a bit down here, the odd spell of sunshine but we're very close to the coast which can go two ways, sometimes we have the thin belt of gorgeous others we get the thin belt of drizzly dull.

Have a fabulous time Aggers, should be lovely, hope it doesn't rain on you x
Ton looking forward to seeing the pergola when it's done :)
Jen it's a worry buying something like a mattress isn't it, so important but once you've got it you have to stick with it :?
Glad it's gone well Osc, bet you'll enjoy tomorrow morning with no little alarm clocks :)

I'm tired today so being nice to myself - just watched the semi-final of Portrait Artist of the Year, really interesting, seven artists and each had a completely different approach and result. They were all terrific, looking forward to watching the final (also ready on record).
Imelda Stanton was the sitter, and she was brilliant.
Hope you're all having a good day

Change of plan here.

Just as we were going to Encalho, it emptied down   So the walk through town became a drive, no coffee stop and no cement either, as no point buying it in the rain.

Couldn't get the lamb I wanted for the bbq at the week-end :cute: :cute: and some.one didn't want to drive through town again, to the butchers, si I'll have to have a re-think.

Now staying in - too wet to do anything else.
