Back to get ready then walk into town to meet a friend for coffee and cake at Tiede.

No plans for today, just the usual housework stuff. Joe's in college all day and John left at 5.30 for a day of measuring up on site somewhere in Sunderland.

Hoping this rain clears as I'm seeing my client this morning, which means two buses there and back, via the city centre, where I generally break my journey home, picking up any bits and pieces we might need. Not as enjoyable when it's pouring down! Zumba tonight

Really enjoyed the film yesterday, a nice distraction from all the worry about mother. Brought back a happy memory of when we took her to see the stage show in London, she loved it.

Off out for coffee with the ladies this morning, haven't been for a couple of weeks, it will be nice to catch up.

Weather-wise it's not very pleasant here now. but we have a bit of shopping to do, then
we will, no doubt, resort to one of our hobbies - probably stamp-collecting.

Off to Ourique this afternoon. Need to take the library books back - they don't open until 2.00pm on Wednesday and also to pop into Finances, as we received a letter from them and can't make head or tail of it Something to do with Modelo No. 2, No. 3 do artigo 76º and other stuff. It'll be difficult to park, as the Porco Alentejana Feira starts tomorrow, so all the stalls are up in the main streets. Might have to wait until next week.

Then supermarket shopping and footie tonight
