Today's the day of the great surprise for mum and dad.

I'm picking them up late morning and bringing them over here - Jacob will be sitting in the kitchen waiting for them.

I can't wait to see the joy on their faces.

No Friday beers and tapas for Don & I tonight - we're carrying on with our anniversary celebrations and heading to the new Mexican restaurant for a few tequilas and dinner.

So we're heading out soon, to plant the new plants, then back for breakfast. I'll be pootling inside, Grumpy has yet more stuff to do outside. Think he's going to make a start on the replacement store-room - to replace the tin hut.

I'm off in a minute to walk to our new craft and chat session (replacing art till October).
We were just told to bring our own project, that's why I've been saving pictures to cover boxes. I have lots of pictures and one shoe box to take today, we will see how the session goes and what we can or can't do.

Bb's walked little Minnie this morning, I'll do this afternoon. B's daughter was there all night so that's good.
And I shall see if there's any useful info available at the Coates centre - several of the art ladies are from their bereavement group so will be able to help there.

Can't wait for your big surprise Ally, you must be fit to burst

Ton, welcome back . Enjoy your day today. I'll be starting with veggie prep this weekend - cannot wait. This weekend will be to clean the greenhouse and get the pots and everything ready. Then if enough time I'll go to a garden centre this weekend to see what there is - if not it'll be next weekend.
Di, enjoy the craft session, they sound like fun, esp when a good natter is involved . Glad B's daughter was there with her last night, Going to be some tough days ahead for her.
Kaz, your comment re gossip with Emma made me giggle. Karl and Nadine's ex neighbour Bob once commented that he found it quite astounding just how much Nadine and I could prattle on about

A beautiful sunny day here. Usual work day for me, then meeting up with friends for dinner in Wimbledon which will be nice. I met Mike and Pete about 15 or so years ago when I did my first gardening course and we've been friends ever since. We try meet up a few times a year and always have a really good time. Mike is now retired from his London job but got involved with the RHS; so he gets us free tickets to the Hampton Court Flower Show every year - perfect friend to have .

Morning all, it is very over cast here although the sun is making a bit of an effort. Today the ironing awaits my attention but I will get out for a walk too.
