Afternoon :)
Lovely and sunny but nowhere near as warm as yesterday.

Ally hope you're having fun, we've been past Plaza Mayor on the train but not been in.
Hope you feel better soon Ton, and good luck with the leak.
Ossie our blackbirds do that too, they seem to think it's a good game don't they!

Still no eggs here, I called in at the co-op by the hospital but they didn't have one Bb would like.
They did have our favourite onion batons though, so they've gone straight into the freezer :)

Been for a blood test this morning, I didn't like her  She stuck the needle in the wrong place, it hurt, she wiggled it around then asked if it hurt - yes!
So she took it out again and stuck it in the right place, which didn't hurt at all.
There's 3 or 4 of them, they do it all day and I've often thought some of them get a bit too casual about it.

Afternoon all, been on the go since early. We were up in Miss Osc's house clearing out the shed. The previous tenants has been there for five years and did not seem to have used it much and there was much older stuff there. It is a narrow shed but properly set out could be useful. There is a long term leak so the wooden floor was rotten and Mr Osc pulled it up, but the floor beneath is concrete which is good. There were shelves on one wall, rotten and falling off, so he took them down as well and if SIL decides he wants new ones, Mr Osc can put them up for him. Then we went off and had lunch in the local deli, so we wouldn't have to cook tonight. When we came back, Mr Osc put up brackets to hold Michael and Kellie's scooters, then we set to cutting back lots of ivy in their little front patio - the house is a nicely converted old cottage but there is not a huge amount of outside space, and it is a bit neglected with ivy from next door overgrowing whatever planting there is. Even the bit of work we did created more space, which was good.

We are both pretty tired now, we've had our tea and caught up on one programme recorded last night, just about to watch another, Line of Duty. We stayed up late last night watching the Masters Golf, great result with Sergio Garcia winning his first ever Major.

Not saying it's windy out there this evening .....

..... but we've just been watching one o' they motorised hang-glider thingies from the garden, and it must have been caught by a gust of something because it nearly looped the loop!
