No Saundra we have`nt heard a thing.
I have tried and tried and the secretary just says the consultant
will get back to you.
I asked at the Doctors if they could help but the receptionist said
she could only phone the same as i have been doing.
She said that the doctor might receive a letter from him eventually!!!
I do not know what else to try. I asked if PALS could help but that has
finished at the hospital.

Morning all :D

We've had rain overnight, it's quite bright now though.

Happy Anniversary Mr&Mrs Osc :D :D :D

Lissie that's dreadful, is this Canterbury hospital?

We had a lovely long lie in, only just had brekkie. Will be doing the washing and getting ready for our drive up to Oxford tomorrow. The christening is at 10.45 Sunday morning, hence having to get there a day early.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Yes Jen-the K&C.
The trouble is that the three hospitals are virtually acting as one.
Canterbury, Ashford and Margate. They give you an appointment
at the one that has the quickest one although it is over 25 miles
from here to Margate!!!

Lissie, your road sounds like where we used to live. We moved there in 1994 and it was lovely. We were mid-20s then but everyone else was retired and there was a lovely community feel. Once the boys were born and I wasn't working I was always being invited in to one house or another for a cup of tea when passing and I'd do a bit of shopping or post letters for people when I was popping into town, and I have lovely memories of the very sweet lady from two doors away, Madge, who used to come around every Christmas morning with presents, and Des further up the road always brought the boys some sticks of rock back when he went on holiday. Sadly, time passed and houses were sold for one reason or another and by the time we moved in 2011 there was only Joan next door (and I still keep in touch with her) who was still there out of the original neighbours. We knew no one else by that point.

It is such a shame Jo that this happens.
When we moved here 26 years ago we were "the youngsters" although in our late 50`s.
Most of the others had all moved in together when the bungalows were built and were
in their 70`s. They were all friendly and looked out for each other.
The only ones left now who speak to us are Ron a widower, Joan a widow, Alice and Peter and Diane and Peter
and my friend Maureen from 2 bungalows away.
