Good Morning Saturday

Postby JoM » 20 May 2017, 06:08

Good morning all, it's sunny here but rain is forecast for later.

I'm off out with Billy in a minute. John left early for Sunderland, he's hoping to be back by mid-afternoon. Tom finishes work at 8pm and then we start the first stage of moving his stuff back from Wolverhampton. He says he has 10 boxes and that's about half of the things in his flat and there's still all of his kitchen things to pack yet.

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo, hard to believe it's that time of year already! :D

Morning all :) We have beautiful sunshine here. About to get some washing on, so it can be pegged out before we go out later. B is working so Mick will drive in with her, for the practice 8-)

Hope Ria and Ton have another lovely day :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all. I'm having such a great time here, cannot believe I fly home again today. It always was planned to be a short long weekend break, but it really has flown by. Today the plan is to head down to the Algarve to have a look around there before dropping me off at the airport.

Hope you all have a lovely day x

Good Morning on this lovely bright day (at the moment)
Just heard that there has been a murder just down the road
from us!! A man in his 70`s is the victim and a man in his 60`s
has been arrested. Must find out more when i go out.
Our lovely young next door neighbour is moving. He has only been
here 2 years but his girl friend and him are selling their respective
houses and buying something bigger together.
We will miss him as he has been so helpful. Just hope we get
someone as nice. Most of these bungalows are being snapped up
by people wanting to build onto them and make them into 4 bedroom
houses. I think it is a shame that the council are allowing this and hope
it does`nt happen next door.
Have a nice day.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment.

Have a lovely last day together Ton and Ria.

We're lucky here Lissie, it's a small cul-de-sac of bungalows and although most get renovated when someone new comes along like us, none have been turned into a house. Of course it could be none of us have really big gardens. Extensions tend to be done under permitted development, sometimes to add a 3rd bedroom, but mostly like us to increase the kitchen/dining space. I hope you get nice new neighbours.

Usual Saturday chores, washing etc. Also need to pop to town, getting low on fruit.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon :)
Started off lovely and sunny but now all cloud and a howling gale!

3 days is not long but a good taster Ria, enjoy your last day :)
Gosh that sounds like a lot of stuff Jo :D

Our little close is houses, but the road we're off is quite a long one, with all bungalows, just one house.
They are gradually getting done up, but they are mostly having loft conversions.
One or two with more space have extended a bit but nothing drastic. Thankfully they just look smartened up.

Feeling frustrated, managed to import new photos (our holiday) from phone to new pc, but can't quite work it out. There's a nice new folder on the start screen, but if I go on fb and try to upload a new pic, it doesn't give me that folder as an option to upload from...been trying for ages so have stopped with a yummy cortado (coffee), maybe the caffeine will help :)

Enjoy your day Ria and Jan :)

The sunshine didn't last long here. It was raining by 11. Still, me and Billy walked for four miles and then I managed to get some dead Primulas out and dig all of the borders over before it started.

Tom's gone to work. It's gone quick hasn't it Kaz, this year. He's back for the Summer on Wednesday night, along with the rest of his belongings. I think he'll be relieved to be home in a way. They've been having problems with the one girl who they share with. I've mentioned her before in that she's very much like his ex, Meg, in how she behaves. She doesn't talk to Tom or the other chap, Jake. She's really got one on her this week because J's invited T and Shannon (the other girl in the flat and who is now T's girlfriend) down to his house next weekend and she's not happy that she hasn't been invited, despite the fact she doesn't speak to J (and how anyone could dislike him is beyond me, he's such a lovely lad)!

Di, the stuff still to bring after tonight include his slow cooker and two coffee makers - his filter machine and his Tassimo  I can't quite comprehend how he's built up so much stuff.

Is a cortado nice then? I keep seeing Costa advertising them.
