I've been for a yompette and after a coffee will have a swim.

Meeting David for coffee and cake late afternoon (there's been huge changes on the work front for both of us that I'll post about on another thread) as we need to sort some climbing dates out.

Work 6 - 9 then home to chill out in front of the TV.

Morning all.

Bright sunny and 22 in the shade today, likely to get a fair bit hotter. It's now running up to Friday when we're due 32c until Sunday.

Mrs S woke up sick today and we have the EDF guy coming back to read the meter again today as he arrived when we were in bed lazing yesterday. I'm still finishing off the Utility room today, I was very lax yesterday and only got the last of the ceiling wood panelling glued up and one small wall around the fridge built. Today I have to get a lot more done but job hunting takes precedence.

Yesterday I also got Kodi installed on one of my Fire TV sticks and confirmed I could stream my movies from my movie machine. I'm hoping I can replace the Raspberry Pi and get my Netflix back again. Have to convince Mrs S though..

I'm off out for coffee with the ladies this morning. This afternoon we'll probably be in the garden putting in the new plants we bought yesterday. Need to start looking for some garden furniture too. We'd like a rattan set, has anyone bought one lately, recommendations welcomed. Also need a large cantilever umbrella, preferably UV for E.

The boy next door bought a Rattan suite from them last Summer and
is pleased with it.
It will give you some idea of the prices.

Grandaughter sent the scans of our great grandchild last night
She was so excited that she paid for them to be done although she
has NHS ones on the 2nd June. She says the baby is perfect but says she
wanted to make sure. (bless)

I'm off to the dental practise soon - to have an impression taken for something to be
added to my denture to replace the tooth I had removed a fortnight ago.

We had a lovely holiday last week, based on Hayling Island, and came back sun-burned.

Gorgeous morning, already 23C so should be in the pool later

Bit tired after 2 nights disturbed sleep but I-ll shoulder on

Washing machine on, Molly out and I-ll be beetroot picking, cooking and possibly pickling later.

Waiting to hear from the insurance company about a car, if not, I-ve arranged to borrow Gez-s ar, as she-s in England at the moment. Only really need it for tomorrow, as I have yet another test in Aljustrel. Can-t keep asking Antonia, although she keeps saying she-s happy to do it.
