Morning Ally and everyone

Quite warm already and hotter expected 8-)

Pickig up Gez-s car soon / shes in England and doesn-t need it and we need a car, so she very kindly is letting us use it for as long as we need / until 4 June, when she-s back. Hopefully, ours will be back next week.

But we really only need it for today, pay the motorway taxes, put more money on our phone and also need food, water and beer ;)

Back to Aljustrel again this afternoon, for another heart check /I get the eresults from the 24 hour thing today too / and then we-re taking Antonia to the Palma for dinner, as a thank you.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you-re doing xx

It promises to be very hot here as well; not a cloud in the sky at the moment.

Stuck indoors presently waiting for a man wot knows about solar panel installation to come and rule on whether the system we have inherited is good, bad or ugly. And hopefully to fix a glycol leak .....

Good morning all, it's hot already here.

I walked Billy for an hour at 6.30 and I think I'm going to take him again in a minute. He needs a couple of walks a day but it'll be far too warm for him later in the day.

Tom DIDN'T bring any washing home! He'd got money left on his laundry card so used that up and brought ironing back instead  Still, I've just done that and a few things like towels and a duvet cover which were still damp are airing on the line. I think we might lock horns over some furniture later. Seeing as he doesn't live here for 9 months of the year we put a bookcase in his room which would no longer fit in Joe's room when they both had new furniture last year. It's a tall Ikea Billy one, really strong and sturdy, almost ceiling height so great for extra storage and it matches one he has in there (and is bolted to it) and also matches the new furniture he had. He was adamant he didn't want it in there but, like I said, he's not here for most of the year (and lives here rent free when he does). He said last night that wants the TV cabinet he had back in there though, it's currently in the garage, but there's absolutely nowhere that it can go. The only empty wall space is under his window but if it goes there it'll impede the wardrobe doors - and his TV will actually sit nicely on the bookcase!

Good luck Jan!

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo :)

Kids eh? Your house, your rules, I reckon! ;) I'm afraid that we store a fair bit of stuff in H's room these days (boxes in his deep alcove over the stairwell, suitcases with stuff in on top of his wardrobe etc) he spends so little time here, and it has to go somewhere! :?

Morning all - a gorgeous sunny blue sky kind of day; and I'm in the office

Ally, enjoy your day
Jan, that's good of Gez (but how does a car get THAT dirty :o ). Fingers crossed you get your car back soon and also for the results today and enjoy the dinner tonight; say hi from me
Good luck with the solar panels Ossie
Jo and Kaz; now don't go overdoing the ironing thing! And good idea keeping and eye on D Kaz, the heat easily gets to elderly people.
Jo, definitely put foot down re the furniture thing - after all; it is YOUR house and as Kaz and Saundra have said it's not as though he's paying rent or anything; so YOUR house / YOUR rules ;)
Morning Saundra :D

Well usual work day for me and then having nails done this evening. A good friend of Nadine's (and mine) is arriving from Switzerland really late tonight and I may or may not keep Nadine company on the way to the airport - just makes for a VERY late night, esp as I get up at 5.30 in the mornings... hmmmm

Have a lovely day all x
