Good morning all.

Hope you are all enjoying this hot spell. We are getting out our air conditioner now,
as we can't enjoy being too hot.

I'm not watering my pants, though.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here :D

After brekkie we're going to try walking along the seafront down to the harbour, been using the bus as I haven't been able to do the full walk for ages because of my ankle so fingers crossed. This afternoon we'll be back at the garden centre to get plants for the front. Won't need a lot, we only left a border down one side when the drive was done, but it's looking really bare since E cleared it out.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Well my sister is 75 today - she didn't want a family party (which came up on my timeline from five years ago when she was 70 - she DID have a big family party!!) as she said she'd end up doing most of the catering/hostessing.....and we are away from tomorrow, so I suggested I take her for coffee and cake this afternoon, we're going to a lovely garden centre near Durham centre, I've just popped out for flowers for her so should be nice.

It's a gorgeous sunny day with a nice breeze again - perfect!

Enjoy your Fridays everyone xxx

Afternoon :)
Another gorgeous day aren't we lucky :D

Quick pit stop for me, got some washing done early then was out to our support group, about to do some lunch then straight out again, have to get blood done today as they're closed on Monday.
Hoping to get my x-ray done too, it's a walk in service so it will depend on the queue.

Air conditioning here too Aggers, in the form of all doors and windows open, upstairs curtains drawn :)
Gal that sounds perfect on a day like this :)

Good afternoon all!

Hot and sunny here. John's taken today off as he worked last weekend, we went out for breakfast this morning and then went to Tesco for some rolls for tonight's barbecue. We tried last night and they had none, thought they'd surely have some this morning but the shelves were still empty. I asked but the woman said they'd be another hour, since they've started closing overnight they don't have them done first thing (this was 11am and the store opens at 6am). We've got to pick Shannon up shortly so I'll try Asda next to the university. Once we're all back we're going to the pub down the lane before coming home for the barbecue.

Right....off to hoover!

Good evening.
Still sunny and hot.
Went to Boundary Mill this morning. It opens at 10.00 a.m and we amongst the first in the store. Mrs e got a pink top, a white knitted jacket and a jump suit. She really wanted some shoes but did not see any she liked.
I got a new pair of trousers.
Had a snack before driving home.
Called at the tyre company who looked at my tyres last week. They took one of the front tyres off, cleaned the inside of the metal rim, re-fitted the tyre with a new valve and inflated it again. Also checked pressures in the other three tyres.
The error message which had appeared on the instrument panel saying the tyres needed checking has stopped appearing since this was done last Friday.
Cost--Nothing. So we gave the young mechanic some money to buy a drink. Well worth it as would have been very expensive if e had taken it to a Merc dealer.
