More attacks

It's dreadfull news again with more bridge incident in London
It will just get worse now not better
It's to late to pussy foot about
If people are known to have links with isis or terrorism we need to sort them out and double quick

If I see one more vigil, multi-faith show of solidarity, slebs rushing to say how the spirit of this great city won't be crushed etc etc etc, one more greasy politician going on about love beating hate and how these people will not be allowed to divide us - I think I will spontaneously combust.

I am bloody angry about all this and |I want to see action taken against those responsible, their families and the mosques where they learn their hate.

No more namby-pamby, knock-kneed hand wringing when innocent people have been murdered by terrorists in broad daylight - again.

I quite agree. There are well over 20 mosques in Birmingham alone, and England is supposed
to be a Christian country. We should have listened to Enoch Powell.

Ah, Crommers, you've been listening to that nice Mr Khan this morning, haven't you?

If there are 20,000 potential terrorists out there, and 3,000 on the immediate watch list, then we need to bring in interment, now. There's a number of old redundant jail buildings around like Shepton Mallet Prison which could take 200, and I'm sure the Army could arrange something on Salisbury Plain at a pinch. Human rights and civil liberties must be subservient to the terror threat protem.

Master O's fiancée was working a night shift at St Thomas's Hospital last night; the last I heard, the hospital was taking casualties and in lock-down. She is a paediatric nursing sister (or similar) so probably not directly involved.

Be interesting to see if the election gets postponed - it would get Theresa off the hook - but I presume it will go ahead, come what may.

Special thoughts for Jo and family assuming they're still heading for Manchester today .....

I was made aware of his cretinous remark that London was 'safe', yes. What a thing to say when the bodies of the dead aren't even cold yet.

The media are still pushing "the best response from the general public is just to go about their business" line, but there is a note of worry in it now.

Well, I do believe that after Manchester I said it would happen again and it would keep on happening until things change. Would that I were wrong but it is not that difficult to work out is it?

Today May came out and said "things have to change" and targeted the exact issues that you, Crommers and many others are pointing at.

Sadly Crommers you're either going to have to turn the TV off and be selective with your news you read or spontaneously combust... Even worse you are going to have to watch London vote for those ideals, which enrage you so much, on Thursday.

Saundra, I will be going into the shops tomorrow here in France. Because the people I know are aware I'm British I will get a lot of sympathy and solidarity. Most of them say exactly the same thing you did.

You are right about that. I watched a bit this morning and had to turn it off.
