Afternoon :)
Cloudy and breezy here.

Been to yoga then coffee, Bb's been here working.

That is annoying Jo, they shouldn't just assume.
Osc I'd be as enthusiastic as you are :D

Not sure what else I'm up to :)

Aw, poor little Billy, Jo! Sending a cuddle for him (((x)))

Ria, my target is the absolute top end of my healthy BMI, so not really! Bit fed up as I had somehow actually gained a pound, goodness knows how, but I keep plodding on and will get there eventually  ;)

Thanks for the good wishes for Mick, it's a gum specialist that he's seeing, and has been for a while. They are trying to save his teeth, he needs a lot of work doing, but that can't be done until his gums are strong enough. Otherwise it will be dentures. To be honest this gum stuff is so expensive (and taking so long with so little result) that they might be the better option :?

Glad you got on OK, Cromwell, hope E did too Jen:)

Jo that's really cheeky, they should use a PO box or something! :cute:

Evening all - I've had today off as I had a hospital appointment for an ultrasound on my pelvic area so had been advised no food and only water to drink....!!
The scan lasted a couple of minutes (think pregnancy scan) throw a bit of gel on and wave the scanner over my lower belly for a bit....what they don't tell you about is how DESPERATE for a wee you are, having barely an hour earlier having had a pint of water. I have held wee in for a long while before, obviously, but this was something else! It hurt to wee when I did get chance, and Niagara doesn't begin to cover it!

Anyway, looks like all is normal but the results will make their way back to my GP sometime this week so no doubt I'll be speaking to her about what happens now...I really enjoyed my lemon muffin and latte at Costa afterwards!! :D :D Popped to M&S as well and ended up getting some lovely navy trousers (worky type ones) and a good ol' mooch....might as well make the most of my day off (which I have now had, working Friday this week as payback/swap)

Kaz that does sound a lot of work for little gain re Mick's gums....hope it all gets sorted, well done you though, what's a pound really? You look fab on the photo you posted, doing fine!! :)

Aww poor Billy :( Hope he's better soon x

Have a lovely evening xx

Oh I've had scans like that before Gal, so very uncomfortable! Hope the result is ok xxx

Oh and thanks, yes I know it's daft really, a pound is nothinbg as you say :) I am fed up with M's dentist stuff, so very expensive and yet he still has a mouth full of bad teeth! Don't see the point, he could spend the same money on some really good private dentures and at least they would look (and feel) better :?
