Oops I just bought myself a present
I love amazon prime, click and it will be here tomorrow

For quite a while have looked on and off at dab radios, I
wanted one for upstairs so I can listen to the cricket while ironing, or music of course. The bedroom one is only fm and has to be turned up a bit loud to hear from the little room.

Anyway, it looks good, very neat, and quite a bargain at £27.95

Which one did you get Di? I bought one from Amazon from around the same price, for in the bathroom and it's great. Better than the ones I paid double for which we've got in the living room and kitchen.

Next door really annoy me

When they have paying guests, they have to use the back terrace, as the front has the pool for the guests. They just sit there, staring at us :cute

We-re going to have to extend some trellis, so at least we can have some privacy getting to and from the pool

Stupid really, as neither of them speak a word of Portuguese and keep asking either us or Carlos for help. As one of their dogs recently bit Carlos, he-s given up helping too

They-re one of a bunch of people, who use the bar to collect their post, but don-t even have coffee

Jose and maria do it out of kindness / they used to get paid by the post office, but that stopped a couple of years ago.

According to the DM we are in for a month long heat wave
Well it's not happening here we are due rain later

Buying match tickets was slightly, but only just, easier this year compared to last. First and last game of the season booked in 1 hour and 57 minutes - it took more than 4 hours to do the same last year.

Forgot to update about why the police were at the house up the corner. It was broken into, via a rear door, for the car keys and, obviously, the car.
This pic might explain better but it's quite hidden from view plus it's sideways on to where the common starts. Great if you want to be secluded but not so great from a security point of view. It's actually the second time it's been burgled, it happened when M&J lived there too. (Our house is on the corner near the bottom of the pic, with the long side lawn and the red car on the drive behind it). At the top of the picture, just to the right/top of the wording, is the path we take onto the common from the estate so it'd be easy to walk around to the fence, into the back garden and not be noticed.

Ah right, thanks for the update Jo!

Dayrider bus tickets are such a saving here! £3.70 for a ticket for as many journeys as you like! I take four bus rides on Wednesdays, and now B is using it to get to work and back this afternoon £12 worth of travel
