Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 21 Jun 2017, 04:56

Good morning. :D

Usual June heat. :D 8-) 8-) 8-)

Our feria opens in town today so there is great excitement as it signifies schools are about to close for the long hot summer. :D :D

I've got work 6 - 9 tonight, Jacob lands at 8.30 and Don will pick him up. They'll both come and meet me when I finish work and we're going out for beers and a bite to eat. I can't wait to see J again. :Hi: :Hi:

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all :)

Have have a great reunion with your boy, Ally! :D :D

Going to be very hot here again, which I like, but also very humid, which I don't :? We are due rain overnight and a drop in both the heat and humidity for tomorrow ;)

No work today, due to a family issue with my client, so I don't need to go into town. I might wander up to Sainsbury's later :) I think the ironing will wait for the cooler temps tomorrow. I went to zumba yesterday morning so probably won't bother tonight ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Kaz, you are so choosy! :D Ally, how long are Spanish school summer holidays?

A nice morning here. Warm but a nice breeze. Mr Bunting the washing machine wizard is coming later but that apart the day is free. Have a good one everybody.

Morning Ally, Kaz, Cromwell and everyone

The heavy mist/fog is very slowly lifting and it will be another hot day.

Have a lovely time with the family Ally x

We're off to meet the mayor this morning, at a friends house. The local elections are coming up in October and he wants as much support as he can. He's the country's youngest mayor at 29, is from Encalho :D :D and personally, I think he's going a great job. But we need to register before we vote.

I also need to ring Paulo about the car - as arranged and we will also need to go and make yet another appointment with the doc. I'll post on the health board.

We're both really tired, not a lot of sleep, well, he did, I didn't   Molly decided at 3.00 this morning that as she hadn't been fed since the morning before, she was rather hungry and was giving a lot of cries through the open windows.

Have a good day everyone, keep cool if you can x

Good Morning to you both and all who follow
Very hot and sticky here again.
Got to stay in as having a Smart Meter fitted and they give between 12 and 4.
It will take 2 hours. I don`t know if it is a good thing or not but they convinced
me on the phone that it was as it does away with estimated bills and shows you
what is using a lot of power so you can cut down on it.
Don`s eye is continuing to improve.
I bet you are looking forward to seeing your boy Ally.
I had an embarrassing episode yesterday so will tell you on a seperate post

Morning all :D

Looks like another scorcher.

We had a lovely stroll down to the harbour yesterday. It was very hot, but there was just enough breeze on the seafront to make it doable. Needed a hat and plenty of Factor 50 though. Can't believe how many people were lying on the beach roasting and looking like lobsters  I know we're more aware of the dangers because of E, but there are enough warnings about sun damage in the media..........what happened to common sense.......

Off out for coffee with the ladies this morning, it will be relaxing in the garden with a bottle of wine this afternoon.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Jan, behave yourself meeting the local bigwigs ;) :D More hugs for Grumpy ((((x)))))

Lovely to live at the seaside in this weather Jen :D

Lissie, I should think the new meter will be a good thing 8-) Glad that Don's eye is continuing to improve :)

You should see them over here Jen   :cute:

We used to watch the tourists, not just English, Portuguese, French etc, walk past the house on their way down to the beach and over the space of 4 to 6 weeks, they would be mahogany coloured
