Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 22 Jun 2017, 05:22

Good morning. :D :D

No need to mention the weather. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Well, today's the day. I absolutely adore my job ...but we break up for summer today and the excitement has been building all week. :D :D :D :D :D We go back on 25th September.

Having a swim later then off to Guzman's to buy a bouquet of flowers for boss lady. We've all put some money in and I've been nominated  to go and buy them. I'll then take them to the restaurant that we're going to tonight and after we've eaten a member of staff will bring them out to give to Liz. :D

We should finish eating around 11.30 then myself and 3 other party people  are off to the feria! :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, Molly and everyone

Feeling cooler here too, which is lovely after that heatwave :Hi: :Hi: Back to our normal temps for a week or so :Hi: :Hi:

O'm popping into Ourique soon, to take back a pair of sandals that don't quite stretch far enough round a foot - one does, the other doesn't   and to make an appointment for himself.

Then we'll see what the day brings.

Have a great time tonight Ally - goes without saying, really 8-)

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all, didn't post yesterday, I had a niggley headache all day, due to atmospheric pressure I think, and I found it hard to concentrate on the screen. Went to a new Pilates class in the local gym, my normal class has finished until September but I wanted to try and do something throughout the summer. It was very different from what I am used to, but I will keep going. Did the supermarket shop in the afternoon.

It is much cooler and cloudy today. Kellie is here as usual - her afternoon nap has been discontinued, when are we going to have ours  :( Mr Osc is preparing the dinner for the slow cooker, meatballs in tomato sauce as Michael requested.

Morning :)
It started to feel fresher yesterday evening, it is a welcome change Kaz. A day or two will do, then we'll be ready for some more lovely sunshine :) Not sure if we'll get any rain or not.

Today is the only day this week I have nothing planned, so I guess along with the cooler weather that means I should do some ironing ;)

Gosh Osc yes, can you take turns? - fat chance I guess!

Have a fab time Ally, and everyone have a good day

Sandals sorted - apologies all round from them :D

No appointment until next Wednesday  He's on holiday, one out sick and that leaves one - and she's stuffed with patients. Can't even get in at the week-end, as not a doc then either :cute: as is normal, for emergencies.

I explained what it was, just need some-one to look at the letter from the hospital and make a prescription for a ct scan, but she couldn't help. Not wouldn't, just couldn't.

If he gets worse, we're to take him to Castro or beja  But he'll be fine.

Morning all :D

Doesn't feel any cooler here, still roasting.

Have a great time Ally, sounds fun.

Had a nice morning with the ladies yesterday. I'd downloaded a 2 for 1 voucher for Prezzo so E came and met me for lunch and then we had a stroll along the seafront. Still lots of people dressed in Dickensian costume, all very charming, but goodness knows how they cope in the heat.

Shopping today, not nearly so much fun, but needs must and all that.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all

much much cooler this morning; I nearly put on my cardi :( I know it's been hot, but I'd really like a bit more summer; I'll cry if that was it. Temperatures are set to drop right down to about 20 /22 C for the next few weeks by the looks of it

Ally, have a fantastic last day; enjoy the dinner and the evening out
Jan, glad you got the sandals sorted and bummer re the doc appointments
Osc, how do you do meatballs in the slow cooker? Do they not fall apart? - it sounds delicious
Di, enjoy the cooler day but don't overdo it on the ironing
Kaz, Saundra and Jen; enjoy your respective days shopping and pootling

Usual usual for me. I've been home late every day this week so it'll be nice to get home on time. Monday was dinner at a friends; Tuesday improptu drinks at Waterloo because the trains were delayed / cancelled / just not running as they should. Same yesterday but both Nadine and I stuck it out and then ended up at hers for a glass of wine instead - we sat outside nattering until about 9.30pm; lovely.

But it'll be nice to be home normal time today and just chill

Have a lovely day all and enjoy whatever it is you're up to xx
