Good morning Monday

Postby Ally » 26 Jun 2017, 04:59

Good morning. :D

Up at 5.30 to take Jacob to the airport - we all had a brilliant weekend but that's him on his way back to the UK and Conor went home to Lucia last night.

It'll certainly be quiet without those two around that's for sure!

I shall be lazing by the pool, with a book, and doing absolutely nothing all day!

Have a good one.

Morning Ally, aw I'll bet it is quiet! xx

Morning all :) It looks like a beautiful day here, sunny but not boiling 8-) :D Mick is aching a bit after his gate rebuilding yesterday, despite me running him a hot bath to soak in as soon as we got home. It was a bigger job than he'd thought, as the post was rotten, so he replaced that, and then totally rebuilt the gate!

Lunch was superb, the choc orange souffle was a Delia recipe, dark choc and not at all overly sweet, absolutely beautiful, and D insisted that we bought home what was left

B has work all day - there is a bit of a 'situation' going on there, not involving B as such, but I will pop it on a closed hoard later, I think :? Weight watchers this morning - after that lunch yesterday I am not expecting good results :cute: ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Lovely morning here after yesterdays rain and thunderstorms 8-)

Day 2 of the anniversary and we're going out for dinner, will try and find the link later.

Washing machine on and Carlos is coming up this afternoon to show Grumpy what he has to do with the lecky for the lights and switches.

Having that cover on the pool has made such a difference, I'll be in the as soon as I've finished my coffee.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Beautiful here too, have washed the new duvet cover - best done today, there's rain on the way for the rest of the week.

Happy anniversary again Ton :D
Busy busy, off to yoga in a minute, then coffee, then to w/rose to collect some glasses and a bit of shopping.
Hope you all have a good day

Morning all

Cannot believe that the weekend is over and it's back to Monday and a working week already. They just go by far too fast.

Belated Happy Anniversary for yesterday Jan and happy anniversary for today. Enjoy the dinner tonight x
Hope you and Ally enjoy your pools today. It's only 24 degrees max here today. Our a/c at work is working overtime and it's like a darn fridge where I sit - absolutely freezing. I'm not happy :(
Kaz, good luck with the WW, I'm sure you'll be just fine x
Di, enjoy your day

Well, usual / usual for me again so nothing exciting to report

have a lovely day all x

Morning all :D

Another lovely sunny day here 8-)

Enjoy your meal this evening Jan.

Just having brekkie and then we're off into town. Not sure yet whether we'll walk all the way or get the bus for part of it. Will depend on how E feels once we set off.

We ordered this electric inside/outside BBQ https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01LYT770P/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 it arrived Saturday afternoon so we'll have a go at putting it together this afternoon. We had a gas one some years ago, no good for E these days, the cylinders are too much hassle. This one gets good reviews and will hopefully do the trick nicely.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all, it's lovely here - the perfect temperature and quite bright.

I've cut the lawns and the washing is out on the line. We've got rain forecast on and off all week too Di so I thought I'd better get it done today.

Tom's off to work shortly and then it's the usual Monday post-weekend clean up. I've just ordered an Old Guys Rule mug for my friend Rob as it's his birthday next week, it's one with a motorbike on it as he loves his bikes and I intended getting it for him last year and left it too late (I was used to the OGR shop being in Birmingham and being able to pop in and get anything like that, but it closed) so I'm feeling pleased with myself for being organised this year  You just watch it arrive either late or smashed to pieces

As a reward for being organised I might take advantage of the 20% off MAC make up code that I just received and order myself a new lipstick :P

Kaz, that soufflé sounds amazing!

Have a good day all!
