Morning all - can't believe I'm first up

Well, vet appointment at 9, then nail appointment (they have to be just right for Tuesday you see ) and then meeting a friend for lunch; so a busy start to the day. Hopefully the weather will dry up loads so I can come home after lunch and do stuff in the garden which will be a perfect way to spend the afternoon.

We have a long day ahead, Aunty Rose turns 80 today, so we are going to her surprise party at my cousin R's in St Albans. Not so sure that it will be a surprise as he did the same for her 70th, but it will be a great chance to catch up with everyone My sister is going, my Chris is too, and our cousin Z from Germany has flown over, so I am very much looking forward to it

Nothing much on here. My friend has moved to France and wants us to come over for a couple of weeks. I think we'll manage one week. So I need to get on the Ryanair website!

Out gardening in a mo, back for breakfast later and then see what the day brings. Tonight is bring salmon steak

Crommers, better a week. I know, from experience, having people to stay, however good a friend/family they are that 2 weeks is much too long

Easy drive here yesterday. E had to walk up to the school to collect the two younger ones, my hip's gone again  I'm seeing the doctor Monday, hopefully he'll send me for an xray on that and my ankle.

We were woken spot on 7 as usual, but managed to hang it out till 8. Can't go far but at least the boys have all their own stuff and if it brightens up can play in the garden. Z's been in touch and apparently there are lots of bugs plus jumping frogs or toads, don't think she knows which   Sounds my idea of hell, camping definitely isn't for me. Mind you they do have a rum tent so maybe she can anaesthetic herself there

Morning all, the weather is much improved thank goodness, sun and cloud although it seems coolish. Not doing much today, going out for a meal with friends later, then we are all going dancing. Having a dance marathon weekend, last night, tonight and tomorrow afternoon not done that in quite a while. I'll be in a state of collapse by tomorrow evening
