A place to chat with friends, old and new

Good morning Friday

Good morning.

Gorgeously sunny and warm. 8-)

Got home last night after two fantastic days in London. We walked miles, I spent money in Libertys, hopped on and off the tube all over the place and loved every second.
The river cruise and the London Eye were superb. ( Thanks Don for booking and paying for them  ) Lovely treat. xx

We met up with Don last night as he flew in yesterday. :D

Visiting his mum today and various people to meet.

Tonight we're in Moseley to meet up with a load of friends. :Hi:

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning all :)
What a lovely day you had for it too Ally! :D

Gorgeous again here.
Off to craft and chat this morning, we decided we would do something slightly more demanding than colouring-in today - some of us have been idly colouring and chatting, others have been far more industrious :P
So today Mary is bringing in bits of shrubs etc from her garden and we are going to draw them. That's the idea anyway :D

Other than that, a bit of shopping - red alert for coffee, can't have that! - and trying to decide what's for dinner :? :D

Hope you all have a good day

Good Morning Ally, Di and all :D

It's a sunny one and we're off for a walk! Billy got the all clear from the vet last night so we're taking him to Hednesford Hills. John, the soppy devil, booked the day off in anticipation! We actually stopped off there for a short walk on the way home from the vets though :D Poor thing had been starved of his walks for too long.

Ally, my Mom grew up on St Mary's Row in Moseley. Their row of houses was actually on Location, Location, Location a few years ago  They're gorgeous houses but Mom said they were nowhere near as desirable during the 30s and 40s when they were there!

Glad London was so good! Did you make it to the Sky Garden?

Enjoy your craft group Di!

Have a good day all!

Morning everyone

Clouds now gone and it's going to be a lovely day. The temperature has been down about 5C, which is lovely for this time of year. Hotting up next week though ;)

Glad Billy is now okay and the walks can resume :D

Sounds a lovely day Ally, glad you're having a good time 8-)

Enjoy the craft and chat Di :D

Bit more gardening for me today. Grumpy has borrowed an air-rifle and will setting up a target this morning - making sure Molly isn't around, of course.

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everyone :)

That all sounds great Ally, glad you got to Libertys :D Hope the visit with J goes ok today xxxxx

The craft sounds fun Di, enjoy! :D

Glad that Billy is better Jo :)

Cromwell, mind the tennis balls! ;)

Hope you get some more blue sky Saundra :)

Is this a new hobby for Grumpy, Jan? :geek: ;)

The sky is blue again here :) Probably going shopping with D today, have to ring her in a bit to see if that's still on. Loads of ironing to do at some point today  B is working all day, but the overlap working in both shops finishes tomorrow as Hallmark closes. The new job in Lindt is going well, but B says she can see how working there might put you off chocolate! :o Clearly I bought the wrong baby home from the hospital, as she can't belong to me! :P

Have a good day everyone :) xx

As next door can't or won't control their animals, after repeated requests, we're going to do it for them.

It is still so hot and clammy here.
Have had to strip the beds as they are wringing wet with sweat.
It was like an oven in the night.
No sign of Ratty and co. today. The lack of bird food has probably
put them off.
Got to take Don to docs at 11am for a hearing test as i reckon he is
deaf although my son says it is "selective hearing".
An afternoon of Tennis is the order of the day!!
