Saundra, I enjoy watching it too. I love seeing the different places they cycle through.

No parcel here yet Di but I've had a text to say it'll be here soon. Mine's a new iPod
I've been productive while I've been waiting though. I've fired off a detailed email to PALS about the length of time Joe's waiting to be seen.

No Ria, they will be going home at about 5pm, they only live 25 miles away.

So's mine

Very impressed with DPD. Had a text last night to choose a one hour delivery slot.

It was a new iPod which John's bought me for my birthday. He's fed up of me swearing at my old one, which I've had for five years and has served me very well, as the battery life is now so poor.

I got it from Apple online so that I could get the Product(Red) red one, and they engrave the back for free so I've had a Green Day lyric on there - "Skyscrapers and stargazers in my head" from Are We The Waiting.
Only ordered it at 3pm yesterday too!

Saundra, isn't it amazing how some delivery companies are so good yet others canonly give you a 12 hour time slot.
There's another, APC I think, who tell you where you are on the schedule for that day, eg you're delivery number 47, and you can check it online to see how close the driver is.

LOL, we had a delivery via DPD today, orchestrated by Master O last Thursday, cosmetics for Mrs O; we had chosen delivery for today and were initially given a 13 hour time slot but Master O tracked it and texted us overnight that the time-slot had been narrowed to three hours this morning - and we received the parcel in that time-frame. We're out in the sticks here, so the delivery drivers must be covering a pretty wide geographical area. Time-slots tend to be quite wide, unless it's Royal Mail doing the delivery.

Currently bucketing with rain, welcome relief for the lawns and garden.

I'm hoping to go home and find that either it's still raining or the rain gauge indicates that good rain was had. Current preference is for the first
