Morning all :D

Was going to coffee, but woke up, heard the rain and just turned over  Seems to be brightening a bit now.

Your evening sounds interesting Ria.

No plans for today, really need to give the house a good clean, but we'll see..............

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon all, it's sunny and mild here.

The washing's on the line, the house has been cleaned, Billy's had a long walk and I'm just waiting for Tom to tote back with Shannon before making lunch. She's staying tonight as they're both off work today and tomorrow. John's gone to Sunderland, a last minute trip to do someone else's job, so he wasn't very happy last night. I've got to pop over to the post office shortly to post a parcel and then I'll walk Billy again before dinner. I don't need to cook for Tom and Shannon as they're eating out tonight, John will be late so I'll just do a spicy chicken salad for me and Joe.

Ally, glad you had a lovely trip. We've done that on occasions when flying back from Ireland and been home very quickly.

Have a good day all!

Good afternoon!

Rained well into the night down here, and today it's been overcast and breezy, though it's brightening up a bit now. Certainly not 45C, though ...

Up to Shaftesbury again with Mrs O for some more banking (me) and retail therapy (Mrs O). :D Then a late brunch at a local garden centre.
Long queues at that new car park meter in Shaftesbury - I suspect the problem was that it was proving reluctant to accept card payments.

On return home, found in the post we'd won a £25 Premium Bond prize :Hi: , so I'm going to walk into town to see if I can launder it through my local building society rather than have to go back to Shaftesbury for a third time this week ....

Enjoy your day, all!

We have also had another £25 win on the premium bonds.
It will go towards paying for our next cruise.
It is the sixth one this year and we have also had one for £100.00
Will try for the big one on the lottery this week-end
