I've no idea Jan. Just leave people alone to grieve.

I read that in the news on Friday Jo; so very sad.

As for the press camping out the house - horrid vultures more interested in money from a news story they may be able to sell vs the feelings of the people affected.

Thoughts to the family :(

The press don't have any respect for people's feelings any more

Simple pleasures - listening to Mr Osc make up silly stories for Kellie as she was curled up on his lap waiting for Mummy to arrive.

PALS to the rescue again!

We still hadn't heard anything about Joe's appointment to see the surgeon so I emailed them on Tuesday to see if there was anyway they could find out just how long he'd be waiting.

They replied on Wednesday saying that they'd need Joe's permission, due to his age, before looking into it so could they have his number so that they could speak to him.

He had a call on Thursday.

At 2pm today I had a call from a lady in the PALS office asking if we could be at Stoke for 6.20pm this evening to see the surgeon!

Thanks Jan, it was all positive. He ordered a blood test and a scan and will then schedule surgery. I was so nervous because we got to this stage with Tom years ago at Birmingham Children's Hospital, the haematologist recommended surgery but when we saw the surgeon he flat out refused and was a condescending obnoxious **** who reduced me to tears.
So to say we all breathed a big sigh of relief when we left the hospital last night would be a massive understatement!
