Good morning all, it's still dark here but the forecast is for a hot and sunny day.

Me and Joe are up watching football again and then I'll walk Billy when it finishes at around 5am.

Make the most of the sunshine today Jo - my friend Alex works at the BBC in Brum and says it's pants rain for the next few days.

I've had a power walk up and down them there mad hills and after a coffee I'll have a swim. My goggles snapped yesterday so I need to pop into town for some new ones.

Will do that before it gets too insufferably hot to walk in.

Going out for a couple of beers tonight and a Thai meal.

We have a lovely cool morning at 19C and the cloud will no doubt burn off later, but making the most of it now

Grumpy putting the second coat of paint on the wall and I've done the watering.

As it's cooler today, I'll do the domestic goddess bit after my coffee.

Morning all

Yesterday turned out to be sunny and hot. We had lunch down at the harbour and then came home and sat in the garden for the rest of the afternoon, perfect.

Busy today, hairdresser at 9.30, dentist 12.30 and cinema this afternoon. We're seeing War For the Planet of the Apes, really looking forward to it.

usual work day for me, but hoping to leave a bit earlier and heading over to a friends for dinner which means a bit of a late night home but c'est la vie. The joys of living out in the "sticks" - regardless of where I go it just takes about an hour to get home.

Nice at the moment, rain and thunder due later this afternoon - hopefully after the bedding's dry.

Nothing official on today, plan on going into town. My fly fishing retreat is this weekend and they've said to wear drab clothes.
I don't have any so am going to Peacocks for a couple of drab t-shirts
Also some gardening if it's not too hot.

Towels on the line plants watered a Tesco delivery due at 10 then men in lyrca later
