Good Morning Friday

Postby JoM » 21 Jul 2017, 03:15

Good morning all, yep it's 4am and I'm posting at half time. We've eaten our foam bananas and shrimps :P and are now having a cuppa.

Lots and lots of rain forecast for today. No plans apart from some housework and we have to pick Tom up from a station tonight, not sure yet if it'll be New St or Wolverhampton but either way it'll be around 1am when he gets in.

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo, morning everyone. :D

I love foam bananas Jo...please bring me some at next year's meet!

Well, I was up at 6am to pack for our yomp in the Mijas mountains and to make pasta - David'd picking me up in the next 10 minutes.

It's set to be a scorcher so I have my hat packed as we're covering approx 34kms and I don't want a frazzled scalp!

Usual Friday beers and tapas tonight. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all.

Lots of rain forecast here for today, and it's very windy now. I'm off into town soon to get
a new battery for my wristwatch, which gave up the ghost yesterday, but I'm not risking
walking, so I'm waiting until 9.30 so that I can use by bus pass.

Hope you are all O.K. and don't get caught in the rain.

Been years since I had a foam banana Jo! I will arm wrestle Ally for them at the next meet, but don't fancy my chances :? ;)

Yes, unfortunately two deaths on Kos, I think Rhodes will be ok Saundra (((x)))

Going food shopping with D, to keep her company :) Another small pile of ironing to do later, but otherwisenot much planned. My back hurts a bit, and my toes are tingling, the new pilates lady is a bit tougher on us than Steph, I think I need to be a bit more careful next week :?

Morning :)
Fine here at the moment but much rain due later, starting just as we'll be setting off.
Bb is chauffeuring Linda and I to our fishing retreat, her o/h will collect us on Sunday.

Forecast not too good for tomorrow, still, at least it won't put a stop to what we'll be doing!
Don't know if I'll have time to pop in, so if not see you on Sunday :)

About to go and pack :D

Saundra apparently it was felt on Rhodes but no injuries I don't think.

Morning all

That earthquake has left such devastation in places. My heart goes out to the local Turkish people who are trying so so hard to make a simple living and relying on the tourism for the livelihood. The political situation there is making things hard enough for them as is, and now this - so sad.

Di, have just the best time; looking forward to hearing all about it
Ally, safe yomping
Jan, do you have a specific prescription or could you get some of the 'cheap' reading glasses from here?
Loving the foam banana 'battle' - we could have fun with that next year in Brum

well 1/2 day for me today. Been invited out to a lunch today - the company that my boss buys all his wine from is hosting their annual PA lunch today; and recommendation always is to try take the afternoon off; which I've done :D :D :D I've been invited for the past three years, but this year is the first time I'm able to make it - yay!

Well have a lovely day all - stay dry / warm / cool / safe

xx
