Anyone for trout?

Postby Diflower » 23 Jul 2017, 16:18

I've had the most brilliant weekend :D
And came home with two rather large trout that I CAUGHT :Hi:
And played, and fought, and hauled in - and even killed the second one myself :cute:
One rainbow, given to our neighbour who was thrilled with it :D
And one beautiful, bigger - around 3lbs, quite a size - brown one :Hi:

Glad you had a great time, Di 8-) .... but I'll take a raincheck on the trout.

(Afraid I've had a phobia since I got a fish bone caught in my gullet back when I was a baby ostrich) :|

Brown trout now beautifully filleted, thanks to watching one youtube video and a very sharp knife, 4 fillets in the freezer plus the trimmings to make pate :D
