Good morning all, it's quite sunny here but very windy.

John's on site at Sunderland again, Tom's at work and Joe's just back from his driving lesson.

Hope you all have a good day!

Ria I heard first thing, my heart sank for you.
Something about a rail defect I think?

Had a lovely morning, one of the ladies brought Dylan the Old English sheepdog and her grandson, who's 12 and was a terrific kid, not at all bothered about keeping company with four - ahem - mature ladies :D
He has his own fruit and vegetable garden and was happily chatting about what he grows and how he likes to cook them :)

We had a lovely walk along the very blowy cliff, but at least the sun came out.
Btw the Beach House is not a cafe, it's a rather posh hotel, we sat in the garden with a gorgeous view of the sea, the Needles and the Isle of Wight :)

What an amazing view that must be Di!

We had our very first family-of-four holiday on the Isle Of Wight when Joe was three months old. My sister's now ex had a bungalow at Godshill, with a lovely view of the church there, so they gave us the key and told us to go and enjoy ourselves.
