Had quite a good day in the end yesterday Kaz, but I was up at 3am this morning in absolute agony  Thoroughly fed up with it, but have to wait until 29 Aug for the MRI. The original appointment was for the 12th but that's the day we'll be meeting my sister at Heathrow so had to rearrange. Must admit I'm worried it's going to spoil the visit :(

Good morning all.

It's a lovely one here so far.

It's taken me a long time to get anywhere on the internet this morning, which seems to be the norm
once the schools holidays have started, which suggests that lots of children must now be using the Web,
and the B.T. package I am using just can't cope with the extra usage. B.T. do keep pestering me to spend
more money with them!.

Hope you are all feeling fine, and have a lovely day.

Good afternoon, all! Miserable and drizzly in Dorset.

Are you having your rubbish collected, Aggers - does the strike in Birmingham affect you?

Spent some time this morning trying to pin Waitrose down as to whether or not they will resume stocking tins of La Doria Ratatouille (a household staple here :D ). Nobody was prepared to commit themselves. Is it me or do Waitrose seem to have a habit of ditching / changing brands. May have to take a look in Shaftesbury's Tesco store next time I get petrol up there .....

Afternoon all, it's quite a nice day here, intermittent sun and cloud but nice and warm. I was at the gym this morning and went into the little cafe next door afterwards with one of the other Silver Sneakers ladies for a light lunch. Been pottering about since I got home, but will go to the shops shortly to get some nice chocolates as a birthday gift for my Florida friend who arrives here tomorrow, I will leave them in her hotel with a card. I've arranged a girlie lunch for Tuesday so it will be nice for her to meet up with the other schoolfriends. Going dancing tonight :)

How thoughtful Osc - enjoy your meet up on Tuesday xx

I've had a smashing morning! I still have some back pain from two weeks ago, so I thought, after receiving an email from a local spa, I'd book and go for a back massage. I got £10 discount with it being my birthday month - ooooo it was LUSH!!! :D Wow she really dug those knots out, and I was fully relaxed after! Nipped into Durham afterwards, had a coffee and a cake, bought some polarised sunglasses for Tom, bits and bobs for me, home now to do the boring stuff like ironing and cleaning - yawn!!

The sun is out though which is good! 8-) :D

Have a good Friday everyone, and stay safe xxx
