Thanks all.

Now I'm comparing the offers and trying to come to a deal. One offer has improved by £100 per day, dumped a "meet and greet" requirement and just wants me onboard. The other offer is becoming bogged down in legalese and other strictures and is becoming less appealing by the minute. Not to mention less lucrative.

Nice to have a choice though it is, I thought I had made my choice. Back to the drawing board and, no doubt, I'll wind up with some "grass is greener" feelings whichever decision I make.

Mrs S had her heart set on one and if I don't take it, I'm sure I'll hear about it for a while...

Decisions. But, at least, after over 4 months of irritation, it is a nice position to be in. Although Hobsons choice certainly makes the whole decision process easier.

Well, in the end, it comes down to net retention and that is better in London. We now have a large medical bill to pay and, for that, I need the higher pay.

So I start in London on Tuesday. For better or worse.
