I'm watching the repeat of the first of the new Long Lost Family.

6 minutes I lasted before the tears came. :(

Good morning all.

It's a lovely morning here, although it looks like we've had a lot of rain during the night.

We've been a little walk this morning, but haven't decided what to do this afternoon.
We'll decide after lunch.

Just finished looking though the Sunday paper, but I can't say anything pleased me.

Have a nice day everyone.

Hi all - didn't get time to come on here at all yesterday! I was working in the morning and then Tom and I drove straight to South Shields for a big meet! I met several people I haven't met before, really enjoyed meeting our Paula and Amy!! The weather was very kind as well - gorgeous sunshine and a breeze, and we were in a pub right on the beach so were able to watch the huge ferries and ships going in and out of the Tyne as well as people on the beach and even horses galloping along! Great day!!

So today is back to earth with a bang - lie in and breakfast in bed, followed by a shower and a spot of laundry. Just having a spell online, I've booked T and I tickets to see Dunkirk this coming Wednesday. Just in case the cinema is full.

It's lovely here once again but I think we have rain forecast later.

Have a lovely day all xxx

Morning all :D

Heavy rain yesterday afternoon and overnight, nice and dry now.

Hope David's ankle heels soon Ally.

We used to go blackberry picking regularly when the children were all young. We had a big apple tree in the garden so the freezer was always full of apple and blackberry pie packs, kept us going all through the winter, yummy.

Had another bad night, gave up at 3am and got up, had to wait before I could take more painkillers but finally got back into bed at 5.30. Managed to get just over 4hrs sleep so feeling decidedly c**p this morning. Nothing planned, intend to be extremely lazy. I popped a gammon joint in the slow cooker yesterday so we'll have that cold with salad for dinner.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Afternoon all, sun and cloud here. We set off for a stroll but shortened it as there were big dark clouds looming. After we got back, there was a torrential shower which didn't last very long but a lot of people got very wet! Slept quite late this morning, thought it was 7.45 when I woke but it was actually 8.45  My friend who is over from Florida rang me around 10.30 and we had a good chat, haven't seen her for two years, and we arranged to travel together into town on Tuesday for our lunch with other schoolfriends.

This afternoon, I suppose I should do some ironing :? Gal, I loved all the photos of the meet, but none of you :(

I'm a bit disappointed about that tbh Osc....feels like I wasn't really there, cos I took pics but nobody else did until the evening and by then I was gone, as was Paula.

Ah well :(
