Had my swim and now getting ready for work. I finish at 1pm and meeting David in town for a coffee.

Lovely and cool this morning, so the watering has been done - mostly by hand, to conserve water. Takes a long time though

Having a coffee, then will be finishing the netting, breakfast then attack the huge pile of ironing.

It's sunny but cool here at the moment. Off to see D a bit later, for a spot of lunch. Got some washing to get out first. B's last day in retail today! She has a shopping list of chocs to get while she still has her 40% staff discount - not from me, but D, Emma and her daughter have all put in "Buy early for Christmas" requests

I'm with you on this one Kaz - July was a bit of a washout wasn't it?
Saundra, same as you and Kaz I'm hoping for a few warmer days in August, but a forecast a few days back was warning of a wet August so I'm not holding my breath

Morning all, I'm all dolled up and ready to go for my ladies lunching lunch. One of them just rang me to say that she won't be coming as her husband is unwell, which is a shame. We had a man here earlier cleaning moss off the roof and the front guttering. Now the painter is here to paint the bathroom ceiling, and then hopefully that will erase all signs of the finally solved leak. Must go >>>>>>>>

Another good nights sleep for me mind you I'm taking as cocktail of pills that should drop and elephant We're off to the cinema this afternoon, seeing Dunkirk, it's had brilliant reviews so looking forward to it.
